  1. My folks have asked me to look into getting some security cameras installed in our shop maybe two looking out on the parking area at the front and two or three inside (to cover several rooms). Does anyone on here have any experience in this area and could offer some advice on what to go for? Cheers, Leigh.
  2. Are there?? I have to say I've never seen or heard of them and Birmingham is my stomping ground but hey, you never know :) I do know that Nottingham has at least two marked Scooby's though as they frightened the bleeding life out of me when they both barrelled round a corner, out of no-where at around 90mph! Late for their tea I guess...:D
  3. I've seen that before and it looks just as bad now as it did then! :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal
  4. BabelFish says: Perfection HTH!
  5. Just to let you know I re-subscribed today through Internet Bank Transfer (membership to expire April 13th). There was no space to add a reference but I can PM my sort code/account number for verification if needs be. Cheers, Leigh.
  6. Just a thought but you could always buy the wing you want and make the struts up or have them made up... It's what I did with my last car. I found the spoiler I wanted (in a scrappy of all places!) and basically set to work on an aluminium block and cut out the shapes of the struts from a template I designed. Found out after I'd finished that I should have gone for an aluminium/zinc compound instead of plain aluminium as it's less "honeycombed" and doesn't leave the odd pin prick hole after finishing. But they still looked good, if a little on the shiny bling side when they were polished up! ;)
  7. Which one do you like then? Personally I'd go for this one if I was going to do it at all (GTC 300). And if you're looking for big struts, they don't get much bigger than this! :D Hope you find one that's right for you mate.
  8. I don't know if you've seen all these already but here's the APR range: http://www.aprperformance.com/products_list3.asp?CategoryID=1&SubCategoryID=1 The UK distributor is Impossible Performance http://www.impossible-performance.cwc.net/ TBH, as far as Carbon Wings go, you can't get much better than APR. Their wings actually seem to take into account aerodynamic factors rather than just being for "aesthetic" purposes. If I was going to go down this route I'd plum for APR myself. HTH. Leigh.
  9. Lol! ;) Nice one Ian, I know he'll be well chuffed! :D Speak to you later then mate.
  10. Yup. Not entirley sold on the colour but there's nothing wrong with that Zed. The rest of the motors on the other hand... :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal
  11. Hi guys, just wondering if there's been any descision regarding Steve's submission to become a trader? (first mentioned here:http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=45642) No worries if there hasn't been yet. It's just I was speaking to him today and said I'd post to find out :) Cheers, Leigh.
  12. Today I mostly bought some non-itchy trousers. Ohhh the relief.
  13. Would love to see some pics too! I've always had a major soft spot for the 240Z. If I had the money and one came up in decent condition (or even not so decent condition! ;)) I'd snap it up! :D
  14. Nice one Mark! I's been a while! :D :D :D Leigh.
  15. Forgot to do that in my quick Photoshop attempt! :D Suffice to say it's done on mine on the real thing ;) Heap bad idea if anyone's thinking of joining the bumpers to the bodywork. Something I wouldn't (and haven't) done. Aside from having to retain some elements of practicality with the bodywork (you can guarantee at some point either or both bumpers will have to be removed) I also think just a few shut lines look very good and actually emphasise the smoothness of the rest of the car. It's why I haven't smoothed in the rear light panel.
  16. And le Sera in standard form for those that don't know...;) I don't think it's "that" bad TBH! Definately not my cup of tea but it doesn't make me want to gouge my eyes out. Which is nice :D
  17. And the prize of a years subcription to Big Baps monthly goes to Clarkey!!!! :D Sweet Jesus the Sera is a strange car. Not overly keen on it in standard form (like my mate's) but you've got to take your hat off to the guy for the work that's been put into that. Apparently it all went a bit t1ts up in the bodyshop and hasn't seen the light of day for 3 years! And I thought I was taking a long time over body mods... ;)
  18. PMSL! I nearly went for that photo as well!  The really worrying thing is, many years ago my hair ACTUALLY looked like that. How I didn't get a kicking every time I left the house is beyond me... ;)
  19. Nah, not really bud! :D Think you'll all be suprised...
  20. Getting warmer! It's Jap flavoured, quite heavily modified and definately off the beaten track! Lives in Ireland by all accounts...
  21. Mine's done!  ;)
  22. All cold so far...;)
  23. My mate's not long bought himself a new car and I've been having a look round the owners forum he's just joined. While there I found this freshly modified version. This may be too easy for some but just for sh1ts and giggles as it's late...can you guess what car it is? :)
  24. Awww sh1t mate, that ain't good! :( If I knew how to I'd lend a hand like a shot however, as you know, with my technical know-how I may end up starting a small fire... ;) Leigh.
  25. Good idea! Though in some cases (mine included) it may scare the children...;) :D
