import stories/tips
No problem: http://www.neweraimports.com/ I found the UK side of the operation wasn't quite as up to spped as it could be but all the important stuff is handled by Miguel in Japan. You shouldn't go far wrong with them. Good luck :) Leigh

Impoted mine through Newera. If you want a quality motor and peace of mind then go for them, Miguel's a top bloke...but it will cost a little bit more...;) Leigh

HID kit ordered from the US
I knew my lights were bad, not just the standard Z bad but really, really dire but you know how you put off doing anything about it as there's always other stuff to do? However driving home down the A5 in the dark from the Thursday Leicester meet convinced me to get my ass into gear...the fact it felt like I was driving with my eyes closed and couldn't even see the road several times might've helped! So, last night I ordered a HID kit from http://www.superhids.com (who were very helpful). I went for the 5,300K Kit and included the Heavy Duty PnP wiring Harness. But the best bit is the price...Kit+Harness=$335 which equates to £181.81. Factor in the 27% to cover Import Duty, taxes etc and add the carriage charge their end ($25/£13.57) and you get a VERY reasonable total of £244.47. And this kit will plug straight in, no need for any modification and when you consider the same kind of kit over here can sell for £500+... :D Can't wait for it to arrive so I can finally drive at night and actually see where the hell I'm going! :hyper: I'll keep you posted on the installation and results when it does... Leigh.

The first - Fitest non-naked woman piccie contest
Isn't that (and the pic DanDud posted) the bird off 24? Can't remember for the life of me what her name is but she is truly fit as f*ck! Lucie rented "The Girl Next Door" the other night and she's in it...cr@p storyline but hey, it's about pornstars so there was eye candy aplenty!

Age of the Zed driver
28...look much younger...feel much older...go figure :D And now for a few quotes to help us on our way to the fields of Elysium: "I don't feel old. I don't feel anything until noon. Then it's time for my nap." Bob Hope "You know you're getting old when you stoop to tie your shoelaces and wonder what else you could do while you're down there." George Burns. "When I was a boy, the Dead Sea was only sick." George Burns "I'm very pleased to be here. Let's face it, at my age I'm very pleased to be anywhere." George Burns. "At my age I do what Mark Twain did. I get my daily paper, look at the obituaries page and if I'm not there I carry on as usual." Patrick Moore. Personally I like to go with Groucho's take on the subject...."a man's only as old as the woman he feels..." ;) :D Leigh.

Woo Hoo! Got Me Lights!
If they're bigger than the Fiat lights then it's good news. As has been said, the Fiat units just look too darn small...IMO o' course. Would be interested to see a side by side comparison...and like James says, need to know how well they fit...;) Leigh.

Woo Hoo! Got Me Lights!
Exscuse my dense-ness here...are these lights a different size to the ones Luke sells? :) Leigh.

I think it might be raining!!!!
Just got home from taking Lucie to Star City in Birmingham...Christ Almighty it's nasty out there! Had to take it VERY steady as the rain is virtually horizontal making visibility a f*ckin' nightmare, not to mention grip issues! And to think I almost went for a long weekend camping in Breen with my mates...it'll be mud city! :D

Real Time Mapping Working
The coolness factor slightly let down today by it being balanced precariously on the lap of, and operated nervously by, the whooping, grinning passenger! My bad. Lol!

Real Time Mapping Working
I'll get Lucie to commandeer some brushes from the salon and give it a proper wash and brush up...and possibly a short back and sides! ;) :D

Real Time Mapping Working
My response to test run #4 after some tweaking....."F**K ME!!" Lol!  Johns motor was punchy before but this is something else. No exaggeration when I say the results were phenomenal, its so responsive and it just keeps pulling and pulling. Well chuffed for you mate, was a crackin' day sorting it out...still grinning as write this! :D And if you want something to make you laugh bud the bloomin' horn still went off a couple of times on the way home...even when I disconnected it! Oh the shame...;) :D Leigh.

Eat your heart out Captain Burberry!! PMSL!!

Just went for a burn
My mates got a MK 1. The clutch is knackered, the T-bars leak (understatement! Keep telling him his next mod should be a shower curtain:D), the exhaust blows, it's running on dodgy remoulds, the interior is FUBAR'd and for some reason it permanently smells of wet dog, despite him being without pet of any variety. Nice car!  And on another note, was coming back from the centre of Brum late on Wednesday, driving sedately back from a party with Lucie, and noticed an Escort riding fairly close on my tail. Due to traffic flow and through no speeding away on my part, he ended up four or five cars behind me. So there's me minding my own business when he tears up behind me (must've nearly killed himself trying to catch up!) and boots it past me. Lucie turns to me and after using a most unladylike word in reference to the Escort driver, tells me he's probably showing off to the three girls that were also in the car and that I should "show him up a little"...how could I refuse?...So I did;) Not much of a challenge but still fun! :D Leigh

These Wheels, what do you think?
Personally I've never liked the Pacifics mate but that's only my opinion! :) Saw them last on a Supra down my local monthly car show and TBH they didn't impress me at all. Think it's something to do with the thin spokes going right to the edge, just looked a little to showy and not aggressive enough. If it's down to these two, I'd plum for the ACE 130's. Leigh

My new Momo
Alright Alex, well it's mostly down to my birthday TBH. Lucie arranged a night out for us on Friday, unknown to me she invited as many of my friends as she could get hold of so as you can imagine that pretty much ruled out the Saturday as well! :duffer: John D and I toyed with the idea of going down today but thought things would be winding down by now so decided to give it a miss. For a static show I enjoyed it last year (though not sure I could take a whole weekend, I like my creature comforts too much! Lol! ;)) Cheers, Leigh.

And my new MOMO...(I think they're catching)
Glad that's sorted out then Vinz mate! :p ;) :D

My new Momo
Looks really good mate...but then again I'm biased! ;) :D Leigh.
