  1. Guess it must be the season for having these but...just thought I'd show you all my new MOMO Millenium wheel as well! :D Lucie got it for me for my 28th on Thursday (that's what I call a girlfriend...;):D) and I can't wait to get it fitted! :hyper: Thankfully I don't have to worry about the boss disabling stuff as I already have a HICAS eliminator fitted and the cruise control was junked a looooong time ago...;) [/img]
  2. Running stock tubs and stock injectors I was experiencing det at just under 15psi but I know that some people run beyond that with no problems. Rules of thumb are handy but each car is going to be different. Myself, I decided to fit a Nismo adjustable FPR and order some 555's (still waiting for the latter to arrive :( )because I agree with John in that as I intend to upgrade further I might as well sort the fuelling out sooner rather than later.
  3. Sorry to hear that mate. It's very annoying when you've made time and got yourself psyched up to do it :( Leigh.
  4. Lol! :D Actually, I can confirm that it's 3 hours 23 minutes and 15 seconds long :D http://www.harbour.sfu.ca/~hayward/van/discography/string.html
  5. I used to have a tape (hey kids, remember them? :D) of Monty Python sketches and songs that had that on. All I can remember is it had raw meat on the cover. Er...random! :D Leigh.
  6. You're not wrong mate! :D Good to have a Zed expert, who also happens to be a top bloke, on the forum! ;) Leigh.
  7. Nice one Vinz mate, glad to hear you got it all sorted in the end...and with some bloody impressive results! :hyper: :D Leigh.
  8. So did anyone win the Blankety Blank chequebook and pen?? :D
  9. And the luckiest bugger award in the field of conservatories goes to............ .... .... Me! I live next door to a guy who sells fitted kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories. He's a friendly chap and my dad often stops to have a chat with him. One day he turns to my dad and out of the blue says "fancy a conservatory?". Turns out the HUGE, top of the range display model kept in the showroom needs to come down to make room for other stuff and he doesn't have room to store it....he offers us the whole thing for free. The upshot being, bar a couple of grand for the entire installation,we had a £20,000 conservatory for.......nowt :D  It was finished last week! :hyper: Leigh.
  10. I can understand what it's like mate. My 15 year old dog who's been poorly for a while now had a heart attack last week. Heard a high pitched moan and found him sprawled on the ground with his eyes closed. Thought he was gone but managed to massage his heart back into a normal rhythm. Thankfully he seems a bit better now, but it scared the hell out of us as he's like one of the family :( Hope your's gets better soon bud. Leigh
  11. Not exactly the best advertisement in the world is it!? Not my cup of cha either but as the saying goes, each to their own...:)
  12. Don't know if this has already been posted (if so, sorry folks) but found these on Ebay, made by the same company and thought someone might be interested. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10402&item=2483854132&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10402&item=2483783323&rd=1 Cheers, Leigh.
  13. Cheers for the info guys :) The Mech-Mate pit is perfect but at that price it's waaaaaay over what I can afford :( Think the first thing I need to do then is see if the site is actually viable for building a pit ie no water/gas/phone lines. Guess the council will have that kind of information, right? My thoughts exactly mate. Raised ramp=less digging!:D To hell with watching this space...how handy are you with a shovel bud? ;) Cheers Leigh
  14. Lol! Pipe down in the cheap seats! What...you want to be hit repeatedly over the head with a frying pan till you give in as well? Strange boy... Leigh
  15. I would do Stu but not sure I can stretch to paying someone to do it!:(Three of the garage walls are wooden (built by me and my Dad) and the garage is 15ftx20ft so I "guess" the pit would be far enough away from the walls themselves to be safe.
  16. For a while now I've been kicking around the idea of digging a pit in my garage and after spending today clearing out all the junk, I've now got plenty of room for one, plus work benches...I can finally move in there now! Did a search on Google for any DIY guides but didn't turn up much except for an obscure American archived thread. They mentioned you might need permission from the local authority, and suggested a few things: "Lining the walls with concrete block, covered in a concrete and fiberglass mix that will bond them as strong as concrete." "Depending on your water table, you might need to dig extra deep and make a french drain with gravel under a duck-board type floor." (No idea what a french drain is! :D) Has anyone got any experience of digging one or can point me in the right direction? Need a bit more information before I tackle this as it might be beyond my abilities! :) Cheers, Leigh.
  17. Lol! She still hasn't forgiven me (and you! :D ) for that! ;) Think I'm going to have to start hiding them! Sweet Jesus and all the little orphans...what have I done??
  18. Christ Stu! Don't give her anymore ideas! :slap:  Saving up for a Suzuki Cappuccino and that plenty powerful enough! :D
  19. Saw the trailer a couple of weeks ago but was disturbed to see it advertised in the PG section of forthcoming releases! Say it isn't so! It won't be a proper Alien/Predator movie without some "plot essential" horror and violence! :D Leigh
  20. Jock, I've been reading your posts regarding club affairs over the past couple of months with interest. Felt I had to post and say you're bang on the money mate with your ideas. It's not good news that Mark is stepping down but if you step up to the plate I'll definately be voting for you. Good work fella.
  21. I wasn't feeling anyone.....honest officer......
  22. This is Lucie typing not Leigh but its from the both of us... CONGRATULATIONS! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

No mention of my superior Duck taping and highly acclaimed postage skills...how quickly they forget the little people... ;)
  25. Looks good guys. Here's my slightly more motor-sport Blue Peter-esque alternative ;) :D [/img] Aluminium sheet cut to accept the Tech-Edge display, the lights of the KnockLink (front of the casing was removed)and AVC-R. Fascia secured with allen key bolts. TBH it's not staying. Now I'm (fingers crossed) going ahead with the in-car computer install, I can do away with the need for a head unit so I'm currently drawing up a few designs with a view to completely replacing the centre console! Leigh.
