you don't have to loose the mulitroom. You dont need a second box. the reciver has provision for a magic eye reciver to be fitted in a second room that you can change channel over with an extra remote. all you need is coax cable to the room from reciver downstairs a magic eye reciver another remote and your done tell them to stick multiroom up their a##e and have their reciver back only downfall is you wont be able to watch different channels from one room to another
