  1. I would not have though they would be allowed to take money from you and refused the service that's fu##in theft. They have access to a database of all cars that are registered in the uk so they would already know it's origin. They cannot just take the money I would have though at the very least they would have to give you the full premium back. Otherwise they have taken the money for a non existant service. Take legal advice usually the 1st half hour of consultation is free if you use a good solicitor.
  2. did they take money from you and have the reg of the said vehicle you paid to have insured?
  3. I think it looks as if there is another cane up it's arse holding it there
  4. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=e2_P5Aq8aB0 :D
  5. perhaps the clocks are faulty. The reverse gear thing that happened was that also after you changed the clocks? Aftermarket chips usually remove speed limiter, more suited to uk fuel, rev limit raised, fuel maps optimised. Do a search on here loads of info on chips etc. There's a few people on here that socket and chip ecu's
  6. think they ought to try a little creative styling on themselves first before their pets. Maybe they should try styling an angry rotweiler who hasn't been put out to stud in the last few months :duffer:
  7. aftermarket ecu chips will usually remove speed limiter . I'd look at sorting your other problems first though. Did you have any probs before changing the clocks?
  8. speed limiter cap is done by the ecu not the speedo. The bypass thing may be the problem, speed cut should be 112mph
  9. swap you for your wheels in your sig :D
  10. ps appologies for hyjacking thread

  14. Dunno which ones, they were on car already green ones . looks like loads of adjustment on them the windey up part underneath has a good few inches of thread. They also have an allen bolt thingy on the top of the strut. Was told they were set to softest setting when I got the car but are loads firmer than my white cars stock ones.
  15. got teins on mine standard height though as not sure about adjusting everything else if lowered. On softest setting they are still a lot firmer than stock

  19. I was worried it might damage something and have always disconnected paranoia as usual . Any recommendations for safe relaible chargers for this purpose? solar ones look a good idea but do they work
  20. Can I leave my car connected to a mains trickle charger while it's in my garage over the next month or so and do I have to disconnect the battery from the car?
