  1. No worries, on the Renault it was at the end of the handle, and had a small symbol on it. Does it not have a lock on the boot? Barry
  2. Not sure about Nissan, but Renault had a key that came out of the keycard. Then you pulled a part of the door handle off (dont worry, designed to come off) think it was only on one of the doors though. Barry
  3. Steve, was good to meet you today. Thanks for the kind words. Hopefully it wont come to selling it, who needs a kitchen anyway! lol. Good luck with your plans for the Zed. Also, good choice in cars, both zeds and company cars! :) Barry
  4. Dont think they accept uk cards that way, you may have to contact them by email, or phone. Barry
  5. Thought I had gone too far with my rebuild, but get a nice dry day and it changes everything. Have you looked at traction control? might give you a little peace of mind, during the winter months. Barry
  6. Its during the installation itself. The stages ive done are 1, Boot up with Vista Ultimate 64 (OEM) 2, Says downloading files 3, Get the next screen up with progress bar 4, Blank screen Ive read about lots of problems, re drivers etc. But not got anywhere near that stage yet. Barry
  7. Any Vista specialists out there? Im trying to install Vista onto my pc, the hard disk was wiped clean (using fdisk). I boot up from the Vista installation disk, it displays "windows is loading files" and a white progress bar across the screen. Then the next screen has a small green progress bar with Microsoft Corporation below it, then goes to a blank screen and all activity stops. Thanks Barry
  8. I went for the JWT530bb as I wanted a powerful car, but didnt want to make it undriveable with too much power, or too much lag. Unfortunatly not running any after market ECU yet its only been chipped as a temporary fix, so not getting its full potential. So, I guess Ive been no help at all lol. Barry
  9. I do love the new lines of the car without any spoiler at all. Have a look in my rides sectiom or http://s211.photobucket.com/albums/bb152/Bazzajg/ as ive been busy hosting a load of my old pics on there. Will give you an idea as mine is red, no spoiler and 99 spec rear lights. Barry
  10. Think if you put it on retention, you pay the dvla transfer fee, i think approx 85 pounds plus 25 pound for the years retention. Then I think its 25 pound every year. If you fail to pay the yearly retention, the number plate can be took off you and become dvla's. Then if you decide to put it on a new car, im sure theres no charge as youve already paid for the transfer. Barry
  11. Thing is the Evo's and Scoobies are popular with the criminal element, as it has 4 doors. Heard lots of storys of people breaking into houses, or just knocking on the door of your house, beating the shit out of whoever answers the door, just for the keys. Barry
  12. Mark, Your inbox is full. Barry
  13. Thanks guys, after all the time and money spent I really want to see what bhp we can get. So will wait until its all finished even if it means locking it up in the garage for another year. Barry
  14. Not sure, but looking at the possibilty of selling up, may not happen yet. Depends on what its worth in the real world. I would guess over 30k has gone into the car, maybe more, I darent add it up lol. May just keep the car garaged till next year and hopefully get some use out of it. Ive recently had an extension built to the house and now need new kitchen, flooring etc etc etc hence my thinking. Pretty much a full spec list in my rides section. At present its just been run in on a JD chip, the next stage would be the setup for its full potential, with either the AEM setup I have here or a Link setup. Ive been told once setup, it should be running 500bhp plus and everything has been upgraded to handle this power, even down to a RPS carbon clutch. The car has been valued by the Zclub at 26k and is insured for 20k at the moment. The BIG 300 plate wouldnt be included in the sale. So could be sold as is, where it needs a little more money spending on setup, or fully setup. Brief list (see rides for full list) JWT 530bb Turbos 1990 UK conv to Manual wide body Forged internals Full rebuild with nearly every part replaced Lots of polished bits Tein Suspension with EDFC Stoptech big brake kit 19" Alloys Racelogic TC Profec boost ctrl Autometer gauges What are your thoughts in the real world on price? Barry.

  18. Another dodgy ebay seller, taking details of a previously advertised car and listing it way lower, another con. Barry
  19. Its a con, theres lots of adverts like that. Also, the seller has no feedback. Barry
  20. Congrats to the both of you. Barry
  21. Heard today the MetOffice reckon the Saturday and Sunday are supposed to be warm, but possibly thunder showers Monday, so fingers crossed it will be a nice day out. Barry
