  1. As some of you might know, im in the middle of having my engine rebuilt. The engine is basically finished but when we came to last turbo, we found the braided hose that came with it didnt fit. Phil at C and S Woods rang Smithy to see if he could supply, but Smithy couldnt but gave us a company who maybe able to supply an adaptor for us. The following day Smithy found a spare oil feed line he had and sent it to Phil just incase it would fit and yes it did :) Just asked how much I owe and he said dont worry about it! Great bloke, always been helpful in the past and now giving advice on home extensions lol. Great trader for the 300zx.co.uk community. Barry
  2. Thanks for all your help guys. Does anyone know how close I can go with the opening to the wall with the windows in, Im guessing im going to have to have a T shape to give support to the outer wall (not sure it that made sense lol) Barry
  3. Its just between two rooms. Initially was going to be one big bathroom, but now thinking of having a smaller bathroom, with an en-suite off from the other room. Thanks Barry
  4. Wondering if anyone on here is a builder/architect?. Ive just had an extension built, but want to create a new opening, possibly a door through one of the new block walls. Below are pics of the wall where the opening will be, eitherside and a close up of the blocks. Questions I have, how far away from the external wall (with windows on) do I have to come away from before I can open up the block work. Also, is there any regulations on how wide an opening/door should be. Thanks in advance Barry
  5. Yes, with 19s on it will look high. When I did mine I installed KYB shocks and Eibach springs which make the car sit just about right. No point in posting a pic, as it has changed since then and now on Tein's. Barry
  6. Had 3 Renault Laguna's, R reg 1.8, T reg (facelift) 1.8 sport and the newer shape 1.8 Dynamic on a 51 reg. Had each for 3 years and did an average of 120,000 in each car. Only problem I had was a water pump go. Now have a Grande Scenic and again coming upto 90k miles and no real problems. Barry
  7. Happy Birthday Graham, hope the bus pass arrived in the post today  Barry
  8. Does anyone know what the size and thread type is for the hexagon screw/bolt which hold the throttle bodies on?. Looking for some stainless steel ones for the rebuild. Thanks in advance. Barry
  9. Is there anyway that when you click on a picture in the rides section, that it automatically re-sizes itself to fit the screen?. I know its down to size of the file, but wondered if the forum software could open each picture in full in the window. Hope that makes sense Barry
  10. I dont earn enough to reach the 40% bracket, but after cashing in some shares for 1200 pounds, then had to send back 550 pounds in tax back, because of being on a month one basis :( so got hit for 40 percent. Feb is normally our bonus month, so probably going to get hit the same way, not happy. Barry
  11. Heres mine, pictures came out in wrong order. Pic 1 After a year or so of ownership Pic 2 Standard UK example Pic 3 As of last summer Barry

  14. Big thanks to Martin who sent a part to me from his old gearbox. I have asked for his paypal or address so I can send some beer tokens, but he wont give it too me. So just wanted to say thanks for sending the part. Also to Uno (Chris) who offered the part if it was available after his conversion. Just shows what this club is all about. Thanks Barry
  15. Wish mine was the heating in the car, unfortunately in the middle of an extension to the house, so no hot water, no heating and half the back of the house has been knocked down, lets just says its a bit chilly here! On a serious note Danny, hope you get your car sorted. Barry
  16. I did what your thinking, insured a fiesta I bought for 50 quid, re-insured it every two years for a year, so kept and added to my ncb. Now have 5 years. Barry
