  1. As mentioned earlier Pete, im supposed to be working 7days a week for the next four weeks, so will have to see what happens. Also depends if Ive stil got my stalling problem. Barry
  2. Removed the door handles to mine, well the bodyshop did. I bought some strong door solenoids from the US on ebay. Theyve been wired up to my alarm, so I can pop the drivers door with my keyfob, also the guys at http://www.safeandsoundchester.co.uk put in a special sensor, so I have another way to access the car. The guys in the North West have seen it and been pretty amazed :) Barry
  3. Started looking into it a few weeks back, a small finca with a bit of land in spain and just watch the world go by. Barry
  4. This one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4u_uM86WRM&search=prodigy+enya
  5. For anyone into mashup's and bootlegs, heres quite a good link to various djs. Some of it is just noise, but some of its pretty good. http://www.mashculture.nl/mash.html Enjoy, or maybe not! Barry
  6. Hi Andy, Gotta correct you there, the 7.9% percent fee goes to Coinstar, to cover the cost of machine, emptying it, having it instore and keeping it serviced by a good looking guy :) You can chose to donate your money to a chairty on the machine, then charge then is 7%, still one of the cheapest ways of getting the money to the charity. 7. When my car goes in for the rebuild, all the pipework for the HICAS will be removed, as I have a HICAS Elimantor bar fitted. Once this is done, will I need A NA PAS pot, or will I still need a TT PAS pot. Just planning ahead for chromed parts :) Many thanks Barry
  8. Thanks everyone with all your suggestions and help. Barry
  9. Thanks Hellraiser, to be honest havent used the car in the past 2 months. Barry
  10. Thanks Paul, the car is due to go to C and S Woods, for the engine rebuild, so will get Phil to look at it then for me. Regarding the email last week, I will take a pic of the brake booster pipes over the weekend, so I can get the order placed with for those bits I mentioned. Thanks Barry
  11. forgot to mention, also has a Profec B11 fitted, plumbed in, but the car hasnt been chipped yet. Barry
  12. Pete (TurboZ) and Graham (GrahamS) connected my car upto Datascan the other month and found, that the timing stayed at 25 degrees, even when the car was left running and reached 81 temp. Any ideas what could be causing this? Car is a UK, manual conversion, has Koyo rad and Greddy SMIC. Thanks in advance. Barry
  13. 19s fit no problems, had two sets on now, 1 set of Mania Pacifics and the 5 spoke design from I got from the US. You will probably want to lower the car once you put them on, as the car seems to sit a little high on 19s. Barry
  14. Thanks Andy, they were fully wound in, Ive wound them out a little to see if it helped, but not tried car since. Will have a play when it dries up. Thanks Barry
  15. Thanks Clarkey, reason im asking is because I have a problem with the car stalling, if I press clutch to slow down, it just stalls. If I keep the revs around 1k-2k it doesnt stall. Thanks Barry
  16. When dump valves release pressure, should they open and close immediately, or do they open and release and slowly close? Also, while watching them (blitz on hard pipes) when they released pressure, they would close and then slighty move again when the revs hit 1000, is this right? Thanks Barry
  17. Think that would look better in a red car :) Looking good Mike, cant wait to see it at Mascrat. Barry
  18. Lol, gone one better, its Platinum :) Barry
  19. Thanks Mike, didnt realise there were two methods of this, chroming and polishing. Barry
  20. Well impressed by NitroPow's engine bay bling, just wondered what parts could be chromed? Has anyone got a full list of what could be done?. Or be polished (thanks Mike) Thanks Barry
  21. Nearly, LWB Manual Strosek wide a$$ Twin Turbo :)
  22. Pete, you might want to check with TDi, as I was there on Friday and he's working on his own now. Wether he could cope with so many cars in one day. Barry
  23. Thanks all, for all your help, suggestions and recommendations. Barry
  24. Thanks for all your input, I guess once all the mods are done, it would need to be run on a dyno and any mapping done at that point. At present the car has Greddy smic Profec B 11 (to be chipped by J Dixon) Lightened Pulleys Dump valves RPS Street Clutch and Firdanza Flywheel Megan Decats (possibly to be replaced with Alunox front section) ALunox rear exhaust Tein Coilovers Koyo Rad and Water Wetter Stoptech 13" brakes (on order) So, with the above, Ive got the cooling sorted, Handling and braking On order JWT 530bb Turbos, with downpipe 555 inj EGR bypass New lifters Wiseco pistons Eagle Rods Wiring Harness Na Squirters JWT 400+ cams Ive been told that should be good for 450bhp + So, what psi should I be seeing and is anything above being pushed to its max? Thanks Barry
  25. How do you know when your reaching the limits of your engine, turbo's, injectors etc? and how do you know how much pressure to run turbo's at? For example, I install new 530bb Turbo's, 555 inj etc, how do you know which will max out first? Before something breaks. Hope that makes sense lol Thanks Barry
