  1. Ive officially got one! now the arches are fitted :) Barry.
  2. Wasnt there a suggestion last year, about a place near Tamworth? think it was some stately home and a fair in the grounds, ideal for those who bring the kids. Seems quite centrally located with good motorway access? Barry
  3. looking good, bet your well happy to have the car back. Barry
  4. I guess a basic respray (good one) im guessing will cost from 1200-1500 pounds, then upwards for fitting of bodykits. Like most things, you get what you pay for. Barry
  5. Seems to vary so much, depends on when the bodykit arrives, how much prep its going to need, as with nearly anything fibreglass, it will need prepping and possibly reshaping, etc etc. Then, depends if they find any rust when stripping down. Barry
  6. Please do, its always nice to see the cars in development, especially when things are custom, like yours and Jason Farrows. Nothing new on mine really, treated mine more like a restoration, so all the rubbers, plastics, seals are being replaced too. Barry
  7. Didnt think of that! So, the pics in your sig, a glimpse of things to come? Barry
  8. I can see the fuel cap and neck being a pain, im sure the guys at the bodyshop will cope lol. Smooth is the look, removed door handles, aerial, spoiler and rear wash wipe has gone. Yes, keeping it Nissan AG2 red. Barry
  9. Very good question! wish I knew. Barry.
  10. Thanks Allan, just posted pics of how mine looks with the eibachs on at present. But the Teins are on the way :) Barry
  11. Its scary seeing the car in such a state, when it looked spot on before it went into the bodyshop lol. Good luck with your plans, just be wary, everything seems to take longer than you plan, oh and not forgetting, its gonna cost you much more than you planned for! Barry

Mines a 1990 UK car and I think the only problems have been, are caliper seized and battery needed replacing. Just found a small spot of rust under the bonnet, which is being sorted, apart from that, the thousands I have spent on mine, was just upgrading bits by choice. Barry
  13. Few more pics from Wednesday. Starting to take shape, but still a lot to do. Barry
  14. Mini-meet? better turn out than most NW meets lol, ok I have an excuse at the moment not to turn up! lol Barry
  15. Hi Ronnie, Its just a small local bodyshop to me, they fitted my side skirts last yr and did a great job, so decided to get them to fit the kit. I dont think they done a wide arch kit on a Z before, but plenty of bodykits. I can pm you there contact details if interested, or give it a couple of weeks to see what its like when finished, then make up your mind lol. Barry
  16. First person I met, was AdamR who then introduced me to, Scoops, GrahamS and DaveW. Seems like a long time ago lol. Barry
  17. Its the Strosek/Paul Bailey type, got the kit from Russ at 300zxstyling.co.uk Barry
  18. Graham, Its a mess as the interior is here in my kitchen! lol, its just some of the parts and panels inside. Rich, No, decided to keep it as the tailgate skin, as Im going for the smooth look, no door handles, no aerial, side repeaters, lowered in the wing and oval and no rear wash wipe. Allan, Might well be interested in the spacers, will let you know in the next day or two :) Gaz, Heres a few more pics of the tailgate skin.
  19. Just thought I would post some pic's during the bodywork and widebody kit fitting. The pictures were took on Wednesday, the panels were just tacked up getting the shape right. Called in today and the panels are now fitted and they are working on blending the skirt/air duct into the rear arch. BArry
  20. Vijay, Im sure you can get a cradle or caddy, which sits in one of the front bays, and you can unplug your drive, and insert another. Have a look on http://www.scan.co.uk usually where I buy my bits and pieces from. Barry
  21. Sy, I know he works away for a few days at a time. Barry
  22. They will turn up, I ordered the big brake kit and other bits a few weeks back, the disks took a little longer to arrive, as he's mentioned, its his supplier who lets him down. Barry
  23. Bought this Momo the other week, but not got my car back yet to fit it. Barry
  24. Anyone used black wire mesh in their aftermarket bumpers? Barry
  25. Collected the carpet today, very impressed with it, just cant wait now to get the car back and see what it looks like in the car. I dont think the pics do the carpets justice. As you can see the carpet had to be made in two sections, but the join wil be under the seats, also had the mats made and also supplied with underfelt for sound deadening. Will probably be another 4 weeks before the carpet is fitted, so will post some pics then Barry
