  2. Thanks Andy for confirming that, I hadnt noticed it, but while it was up in the air, having the gearbox done, the mechanic pointed it out, its where the strap comes under the tank. Might be worth me replacing the neck at the same time. Barry
  3. Looks like I have a small leak from my petrol tank, using the SEARCH I have found that its happened on a few UK cars, where the straps hold the tank. Does anyone know how much these are new? or should I just find a second jap tank? and is it the same? Thanks Barry.

  7. Mine is a UK TT and I have used a Manual box from a UK TT. For the whole conversion, parts and labour cost me 1150. I know AndyZ (trader on here) gets the conversions in from time to time. Barry
  8. Just wanted to say a couple of thank you's, firstly to Darren and Daniel at D2 Vehicle Services in Rochester for supplying and fitting the manual conversion in two and a half days, also for fitting my decats. Also wanted to say thanks to Smithy, who didnt have stock of the clutch and flywheel, but got them on order and then sent direct to the garage and they arrived 24 hours before I arrived for the work done. Well impressed with the manual box, looking forward to summer now and a little enthusiastic driving :) Barry

  12. I know, for you it didnt work out, but hoping with just over 300bhp, shouldnt be any less reliable for me. I do like the smoothness of the auto, but always felt, you were never 100% in control with an auto.
