  1. Glad to hear youve got your car back, by the way spotted you this afternoon, on the link rd between Grasshopper and the Eastlancs A580, but was going the opposite direction in my Renault. Barry.
  2. Least wont need to water the garden tonight. They hit a high pressure water pipe, luckily my house is safe and so is the Zed, but it is right next to some old peoples bungalows, which will be flooded. Over 2 hours on, its still not stopped, not as bad as earlier though. Barry
  3. Got home this evening to find I have a new water feature at the bottom of my garden! Barry

  9. Keep looking at new televisions, but unsure whats best to get. Anyone in the know? Whats the advantages, disadvantages. If I get one, it would probably be a 32" which, will sit at an angle in the corner of the room. Barry.

Ive had work done on my car by two places, the first, but not quite local to you is PPS a trader on here, Peter did a great job for me. The other work Ive had done was through Phil, not sure the name of the bodyshop as Phil organised it, but again did a great job. Barry.
  13. I think you may need some professional help Graham  Barry.
  14. Got to be the Wings West Barry.
  15. Viniboy, dont know the answer to your question. But most of it is just friendly banter, dont take it too personally. Ive met quite a few people off here now, all are great people to get on with. Im sure it will take alittle time for the jokes to stop :) Been on the Forum for 2yrs now and from what Ive seen, people go out of their way to help fellow Z owners out, with advise, parts etc etc. Probably one of the friendliest forums out there, thats why many people who sell their Z, keep using the forum. Barry.
  16. I did have some play in the rear steering arm, which Phil also sorted for me while its been in. Glad I dont use mine as an everyday car, would be nothing left of it! Trying not to spend anymore on the Z for now, but the temptation is strong! hmmm 99 spec rears!!!! Barry.
  17. Thanks Pete, did think about the Hicas Eliminator, but never had a problem with Hicas, so thought might aswell keep it. Only downside to today, did scuff one of the alloys taking a roundabout alittle to fast. Barry.
  18. Just got my car back from Phil at C and S Woods this week, he fitted my KYB Shocks, Eibach Springs, Camber and Castor Arms, Lightweight pulley set and fixed a boost leak, new timing belt pulleys and belt and painted my timing belt cover. Superb job as always. Took the car over to Nottingham 4 wheel alingment today, got it all aligned correctly, car is now driving better than its ever has done. Roof off for the first time this year, car didnt miss a beat. These people were recommended to me by BeeGeeVinz and did a great job, also they can do upto 24" wheels. http://www.alignment-services.co.uk Barry.
  19. Been to Nottingham today in mine, drove all the way back to Manchester with the roof off. Think Ive caught the sun a little. Barry.
  20. Pete, I did put a small deposit down, but backed out. Wasnt the right one for me, still plan to get one, or an absolute mint non 500 version, maybe next yr. Need new boiler and possible new roof for house! Barry.
  21. After very nearly buying a RS500 Cosworth the other week (one of my ultimate cars). Wondered what other cars you have in your garage, on your drive that you are passionate about, apart from your Z. Kitcars? Classics? Barry.
  22. :x: Dont leave your car unattended for too long Steve! Once Graham sees this! lol Barry.
  23. Had been meaning to pop in and see you Bob, saves me a journey to Chester. Wanted to seek your advice on what options are available for a better sound system. Barry.
  24. Might of been me, this Friday (29th April)heading from Manchester, through Stoke to Nottingham, then to Wymeswold then back to Manchester in a red Z :) Barry.
  25. No Partner, Mr Singleton here lol. Not sure who will turn up in the Z now, most the owners who used to turn up have sold and moved onto Toyota's, they can always fill you in with the joys of owning a Z (Scoops and AdamR). Rossy is selling/sold his, GrahamS still has his and SRRAE has his, never know DaveW might turn up! Barry.
