Q plates are usually means that the cars true identity is unknown, or its yr of manufacture is unknown, or made up from a number of different parts. Chassis number could be missing from being a stolen recovered. Barry.

Had a couple of Megane Cars as courtesy cars and wasnt that impressed. The Grand Scenic is alot bigger and more pressence on the road, plus this being LWB looks better too IMHO plus its back end isnt as bad as the car. Barry.

Been sat in today, waiting for my new daily runner to arrive (company car). Well its here, 7 seats, 17" alloys, cubby holes everywhere, 2 litre petrol, 136hp and 6 gears. Renault Megane Grand Scenic, rear windows get tinted at weekend.

I managed to fit 6x9s, I removed the outer metalwork and made some small mdf mounting rings. Barry.

Zack, they aligned it with standard wheels on and straight away, was pulling to the left and steering wheel was out. Up until then it drove straight no problems. Not too fussed, found a place that can do it with 19s, so will get it redone, also now have a set of Harves camber correction kit, so will be usuing them if camber is out. Barry.

Think I recall reading that Luke has redone the front now, with a smaller opening.

Paul, mine was in at the same place. I was a little concerned when the guy who normally set them up wasnt available, so a young lad set it up, had trouble, had help from another young lad. Then said might not work due to the bumper being to low, to find it was the hydraulic pipe from the machine was in the way. Then an older guy took over. Barry.

Mine drove really well, kept straight with wheels off the wheel, with both standard and 19" alloys on. Had it aligned in Bolton a few weeks back on original alloys, now pulls to the left and steering wheel is off centre. Hoping to get it aligned again, using a set of Harves camber correction kits and have it redone at a different place as the original place could only do upto 18" wheels. Barry.

What about a new section, where members can put requests in for items they fancy? ie Car Mats, Chromed parts etc, items their not sure are available, or who sells them. Then the traders can reply and see if these items are available, or available to be made if enough interest. Barry.

Ive got a UK model, but not sure how you activate it! Its not a seperate button. Think you lift the handbrake up a notch and move forward, but not 100 percent sure. So cant answer your question lol sorry Barry.

Not sure if coincidence, or a new battery really helps the car. Ive always had a bit of a problem, I dont think I always got full boost. Never really worked out why. Installed a new battery today. Car now seems to be hitting full boost more, much more fun to drive. Like I say could be coincidence, or something to try if youve been having similar problems. I have disconnected the battery before, to clear the ECU and made no difference. Also got Shrimpys grounding kit to put on, might even help more. Barry.

I dont complain that often :) Yeah have similar problems, seems fast, but just pulls strong, then other times pins you in the seat. Phil at C & S Woods has looked at it and not found anything wrong. Its been on Conzult, no errors found. Not sure if its a slow auto box etc. Plan to get it looked at later in the yr, if not early next yr. Sorry cant be more help. Barry.

As the title says :) Just building myself a new Intel P4, upto now always used Win98, never seen a reason to upgrade. Whats best to upgrade too. Also used to use Norton AntiVirus and Firewall, heard a few people slate it, whats best. Dont mind buying software. Thanks Barry.
