Ive just disconnected the Battery and will leave off for 1 hour. When I reconnect Ive heard the ECU goes into Self Learning mode, what does this do? Should I drive normally while it does this, or do I thrash it? Does it really matter. Thanks in advance. Barry.

Think Ive been VERY lucky, for the past 7 years Ive been averaging 50,000 miles a year in my company car, plus 5000 in the Zed in the past year, still clean licence. Been stopped many times when younger, once for apparantly jumping a red light and at the same time the wheels nearly leaving the ground due to a hump in the road in my Escort Turbo, but smiled and was let me off.
