  3. PM sent matey, me, me ,me..............lol Cheerz dude, Al.
  4. Same here buddy, spare wheel no fit over calipers.....lol Nothing in the wheel well matey, apart from some silica gel to aid from the dredded condensation in the cold months. No write ups, sorry dude, only a pic of my install............... please remember the only reason i made this box was for 2 reasons. 1st... i needed to get my golf clubs in the boot, did not want to tarnish my newly refurbed rear seats. 2nd.... I wanted the speakers angled toward the front for better deflection of sound from the hatchback, and quality of sound for me. I know it looks alittle shite, but it sounds awesome when in car!!! Check my ride for speaker and amp spec.... Al.
  5. Or in some cases........X 25............... :scared: And you will leave 'em..... Al. :shifty:
  6. Not sure if this is right, but hey.......... I ditched my space saver wheel, and put down hard board, with ice on top. Then i got myself the holts tyreweld. If i wasted a tyre, then the AA will bring me home. Simple puncture, then tyreweld gets me home. HTH....... Al.
  7. I have said this for some time now........... they ain't that fast!!!!! A modded 300 like yours (and mine) will leave many Porsche's while driving at low motorway speed. :whistling: Many people will mock you matey, but i have been there too, and now we both know it!!! Al. :cool3:
  8. I wouldn't go made with the hose, you may have a blocked drain. I would remove all debris by hand and gently flush with water. Al.
  9. Loving this tilt and shift stuff....... http://tiltshiftmaker.com/photo-editing.php Al.
  10. Ok...............which one is the fake piccie in the one's below, answers on a postcard please......lol. Al.
  11. Nice one Baz..... Some more fine examples of Tilt and Shift.............. luv 'em. Al.
  12. This is jims TT....... Albeit , an old piccie. Al.
  13. Take a look here matey, near the end.... IIRC it mentions something about "Tamiya" remote controlled car spares for a replacement for the cog that adjusts the beam, from original plastic to metal. http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_images/H-L_Disassembly.pdf Al.
  14. Hi Nicola, My name is Alan, (believe it or not....lol) and i am the East Anglian REO. I and fellow members/users on this site was at last years modified live event at Snetterton Race Track, and it was a very eventful day with many great cars and good stands. I feel the only thing missing was a true Nissan 300zx stand ;) I will be posting a thread this year regarding a meet at Snetterton again, but would dearly like to have a dedicated hard stand for all 300zx.co.uk members/users so they can show their cars at a superb venue, sponsored by a fantastic group. Please let me know if you require any additional information regarding this request. Many thanks Nicola, and a very warm welcome to the club. Al.
  15. I am up for this matey, and anyone interested in going please add to this thread.... Just as long as the weather is ok.......lol Al.
  16. Add me to the list Jeff, will book a days holiday for the 5th. Al.
  17. No FP gauge at the moment, but i do have new "Zcentre" FPR and FD. I do have a specific chip from JD, but with no mapping session. It has detted above 16psi before and after the engine rebuild, so no issues with engine rebuild. Al. I have spoken to JD and he advised on either fuel or air, so i thought if i get the adjustable FPR in place then at least JD can adjust as required on the fuel side if necessary, albeit when i do get to JD for the mapping/set-up. Al. Thanks for the input guyz......
  18. 3M Fastbond 10.........FTW. Al.
  19. Even if i do not require a FPR, they do look ubber cool in a good looking engine compartment, or is it a complete waste of time and money. I would like to get 1 just for the looks to complement my engine bay, or will this just add to complications in engine management. Cheerz guyz.... Alz.
  20. Hope u got big Quads matey....... you will need 'em with a 3 puck clutch..... lol Alz.
  21. Same story here Richard...... Turned the old girl over this morn and nothing, had to jump her from the wifes Golf, but she did fire very strongly with all 6 cylinders and a good smell of fuel...... luv it!!!!!! Alz.
  22. Happy belated b-day buddy, soz i miised it..... Alz.
  23. Got a new FPR and the other one (cannot remember the name.....lol) from Z centre last year Jim. Just on a side note matey, not started the old girl for well over 8 weeks, cause off the shite weather, but........ started her today and she fired up after 3-4 turns, a little tap from the lifters for a few seconds, then nothing..... no smoke, no noise, nothing.......... only a great roar from the zorsts............ I was a little apprehensive, but, and it is a big but..... i knew from your skill and knowledge, noone comes close to your 300zx experience. I am so glad you rebuilt my 300zx engine buddy!!!!! Alz.
  24. As Vijay said.......... check for loose connecting wires, had this on my 300 sometime ago. Sounded like the starter whirring over and not connecting to the engine. Turned out to be a bad earth connection from the starter motor, once connected securely, all was fine and has been to this date. HTH...... Alz.
  25. Ok guyz.... please bare with me...... I have det above 16 PSI with all the upgrades internally and externally ( pls check my rides, as many things to list). I believe this is either fuel related or air related, after messaging JD. So...... Would this be something i require to eliminate det with the mods I have?? FPR is really not my tech thang....... Cheerz people.... Alz.
