  5. I got some invoices like that matey, but not from zen performance........ And my manual box whines like a biatch too....... Al.
  6. I did read up on the interweb a fews years back, and found the information very good. If i remember correctly, they seem to handle a constant stable voltage for a high performance zed, (this sold it to me....lol) with no loss at high rpm, or something like that. As i was going down the high bhp road, i thought these would be a trusted addition to my build, and they have not let me down since fitted. (over 2 years now). HTH matey, Al.
  7. Got 'em on my 300 matey.... Al.

  11. Have you comp tested the cylinders at all, wet and dry? If not we can do that this weekend , just to rule this out. Al.
  12. I am around this weekend, and can come over to you and take a look if you like Aaron, albeit I am not a 300 mechanic, but might be able to throw some light on her for you. Al.
  13. Also read this... http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-282874.html Al.
  14. My 300 is o/f and i do get alot of the black soot on the rear bumper, some popping/banging from the zorsts, but my mpg is not that bad. Al.
  15. Heavy over-fuelling will leave some heavy black soot on the rear bumper no matter how big your tailpipes, and i mean alot of soot, like a chimney...lol. If you have o/f issues, the next thing to worry about is bore-wash, fuel literally washing the piston bore away. Boost leak will always make the 300 o/f, even a very small boost leak, which is hard to find. Do you get a smell of fuel when pulling up to a set of traffic lights after normal driving? Just throwing some ideas here Aaron. Al.
  16. Do you get black soot over the rear bumper after a drive? Al.
  17. Some chips will overfuel to an extreme, where it can keep the engine cold, in winter and cost you many ££££'s..... lol A JD chip would be fine am sure. As to your cold running and over fuelling........ 1 min.. Al.
  18. Do you have the ecu chipped Aaron? Al.
  19. 5 spoke, deep dish, mmmm............FTFW!!!!!! Good choice matey, Al.
  20. Is there any way you can get an a/m water temp gauge on it Aaron, just to see the difference and rule out the standard water temp gauge as faulty. Al.
  21. Well done for the heads-up Daz  I would have done the same, cheerz dude...... Al.
  22. Reminds me of "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind"..........lol Al.
  23. Either get a series II ptu and try that or there must be a break in the loom for that plug matey. Hope you get it sorted soon........ Let us know your findings buddy, good for a search. Al.
  24. Hey pmf.... I had this on my 300 very recently, but was #1 cylinder for me. No spark, coilpack fine, all electrical signals fine, plug fine, plug connector fine, injector connector fine.... I was a bit lost now. So... i took a gamble on a faulty injector after many hours searching this and many forums, and guess what..... It was a good gamble, turned out the injector had failed and could not get enough fuel into the chamber to combust. Hope this helps matey........ Al.
  25. A bit pricey now............... £50
