  3. sorry to hear you got busted. IIRC, they are obliegd to send you a copy of any evidence they intend to use against you, its caleed disclosure or something, have a look at the ABD site, it tells all.
  4. anything is possible if you have the money to do it is the real answer. but you are right in thinking it would weaken the structure in a rollover. I cant see that it would be worth it to remove that 2inches of metal, also would give you another two seals to leak (as if there are not enough), you would lose your interior light, and the sensor fan which is built into it. Its an idea, but I dont think its a good idea. Cheers Jock
  5. no point taking the piss out of adams hair cut mate, he blatantly doesnt care what it looks like :D

  8. If you think about it... if we start a movement back to stock, all the OEM bumpers we have lying about will be worth something and the prices of the aftermarket stuff will come down, or am I just being hopeful ???

  20. I thought I heard a scampster? Where is your guy then paul?
  21. B19, IMHO opinion the relative from abroad, or the test driver whilst it was up for sale is the way to go, that way you cannot be accused of obstructing justice, as you are supplying the info the are asking for, its not down to you if they cant prosecute due to the fact that the person a) gave you a duff name or b) lives out of the country. Best of luck Jock
  22. cheers lads, I am not as patient as I might be, so it might be a good idea to let someone else do this. I did ask the guy about the heat thing, apparently all their films, including the clear, block 90ish percent of UVA/UVB. The other thing that swayed me was they take the glass out and feather the edges and bake it on so you dont get that clear strip round the edge. Let you know how it goes Cheers again Jock
  23. been looking at this for a bit now mainly from the point of view of keeping the interior a bit cooler, any views on below: 1) do it myself- tho have seen some right old fvck ups 2) pay £220 for a lifetime guaranteed, baked on job cheers
  24. My aircons knackered, butbecause it is the heating matrix, it was still bloody cold today, thanx:D
  25. Unless of course between the inlet and outlet is a well which has to fill before it reaches the outlet, but that should only be a problem if the fuel line is empty, and eben then only on the first few seconds
