My mate has just bought one, sold his 3000gt for it. Only his iopinion but he fooking hates it. He reckons it skips, even with traction control on, at the strangest times, not in a predictable fashion either. i drove it, didnt like it much, too refined for my taste, didnt feel like i was "driving" it ( make sense?)

cheers mate, was planning on taking the dash off to do mine as well main reasons I have big hands and the stories of removing the matrix with the dash in all mention tight spaces :) Also the dash is peeling so can do that repair at the same time.

Trying not to be biased here: I have an NA which was tatty (still is , just tatty in a different shape :)). You wont get the rush of a TT off an NA, but it is still not a slow car. The service history, in my opinion, is more important in a TT, not that i believe they are less reliable, but if they both go wrong, chances are the NA will be cheaper (and easier) to put right. Both give you a fantastic looking car with street cred. I wouldnt swap my NA for a TT, but I never wanted a TT in the first place, having said that i am currently sticking nos in it.HTH Hugh

when i have done it on other cars, it means removing the hub. long job, but not difficult, presume same on the zed. HTH Hugh

Mine is an NA, decatted straight through SS, Not a daily driver as such, but certainly drive it most day, nice rumble when started, gets "sportier" when standing on the loud peddle. havent noticed any depreciation on idle, but the car was crap off idle when i got it, just means givimg the peddle a bit more

i fitted uk turbo dash straight into my jap NA, so they go across the models, easier to find a turbo one, cos theyre dead common :) just means you have a turbo guage. Hope this helps Hugh

not only would you be saving mass by removing the condeser/ compressor et al, you would also save a huge power drain on the engine, by not running the compressor, not sure if you would have to adjust the size of the aux belts tho ( or just remove it jock, you twat) Even doing my own abuse these days.lol
