  1. Sorry to hear that your getting rid bud, but you're right, the car should be an addition to your life, not the driving force.
  2. 3 questions: does it do the job? does it look pretty? can i sell it?. Guess which one counts! Looks like it does the job to me bud, hat's off to you
  3. I will have a look and see if I still have the instructions for the conversion, it is only changing one resistor a 21 ohm for a 33 ohm or vice versa
  4. Apart from the "genitalia" vents and the ironing board on the back, thats a nice car
  5. That will do the job for you it works by robbing a percentage of the pulses from the speedo feed (about a 5/8 of them). thus convincing your clocks and ECU that youre travelling slower than you are which (funnily) correlates to the MPH youre doing. Though as the limiter is still there, effectively you could could still hit the speed limiter at 160 odd (11/8 of 112 mph)
  6. you wont get a chip that converts your Km/ ph to MPH, tho, if you use one of the guys above, it will improve your performance and remove the limiter. To convert the km to miles , you need to a) get a set of uk clocks which are rare as hens teeth, b) get a converter to wire in behind the dash, or c) do a search on here for conversion where you change a resistor behind the clocks
  7. Met you right at the beginning of your buld john,at various meets and jsyt when you were finishing the car, so I know how much work you put into her. Shame you cant see a way to enjoy life and keep the car, but all the very best bud

  16. I just had a survey done, and they put such a complicated disclaimer in there I seriously doubt you have any comeback. This would seem to be the case especially where a basic survey is undertaken which amounts to is the house there? is it going to fall down? is it worth what theyre paying for it? and is there anything that a blind man with no sense of touch could find?
