  1. No cats, no need for the AIV system, just rip it all out and never worry again about gurgling or at least block the vac pipe at the aiv solenoid near to the brake master cylinder, if you are not going to remove it all lol
  2. Doesnt look too bad, but will need a respray in original 732 diamond black pearl :whistling: but i have clear indicators ready and arranging with Andy to have the rear 99 spec copies and centre panel. No bodykits  will need some nice wheels and decent interior to complete the look, i will be keeping this as stock looking as possible as i feel if i ever wanted to sell in the future it would be worth more :thumbup1: and having gone down the whole body mods route with the NA, i have it out of my system:biggrin:
  3. So do i mate :lol: I have the paint and soon will have the time to prepare her once ive got the black one MOT'd then she will be off to the spray shop
  4. Do you still have cats? The aiv system is designed to introduce cool air to the cats for cooling, if you have no cats, you can delete the entire aiv system. If you still have cats and need to retain the aivs, then under the arch liner is the aiv tank, unbolt and get rid of the water and re install, the water is a build up of condensation of a long period of time and shouldnt need to do it again after emptying out. When blocking the vac to the aiv unit there is no build up of pressure the vacuum will just carrying on in the circulation within the plenum
  5. Have created a quick How To in the forum related faq section, please excuse my poor use of paint  its been a while
  6. OK you have created your 2 albums, now click upload images and choose from the folder you have allocated in your hard drive that contain the pics.
  7. Ive replied in the other thread Ian, but you click New garage, then add album and follow the rest of the instructions on the other thread
  8. You will need to upload your pics from your harddrive as some will not copy or save as from the old garage jpgs you may have on the forum. Create an album and add a description, then click upload photos and select from your hardrive to upload. You can only do 5 at a time, but before you save all, use the drop down box to show the album you are saving the pics, IE: IanLvert, IanLslicktop, whatever you have named the album then save all. You can keep adding in multiples of 5 more pics to the album and are able to edit pics or description in the my profile part of the header. Took me a good 10mins to get my head around it lol, but its actually quite easy once you get started
  9. Nice bit of space to work in, look forward to seeing it finished, as no doubt are you :thumbup1:
  10. Ive never had a battery strap and passed every MOT, depends how anal the guy was feeling that day
  11. Check that your front alloys have the plastic spigot rings between the hub and wheel, otherwise the likely cause of the vibration

  21. Cheers Rich, you wouldnt believe what i paid for her :whistling: but it does need alot of tlc, drivers wing mirror, NS front wing, but apart from a couple of lacquer peels in places and one rust bubble on a targa, its not too bad and it doesnt leak
  22. Welcome back and nice new toy
  23. Its a UK car so no waves to come in on
  24. Removing the rear lights for 99spec copies and a rear spoiler from Carmad
  25. Picked her up today and taken a few pics, the rain didnt help so most of the spots you see are rain drops on the lens lol. Needs a fair bit of tlc, already sorted a couple of vac pipes that were off, but the engine is very sweet with no rattle whatsoever even on start up, so its looking like mechanically good so far.
