  1. Happy Birthday Si and have a great day :happybday:
  2. And your here because? All the best mate, at least you know what to expect this time having been through it before
  3. Sort of lol, its got the hardcore down, so sort of primer before top coat  Ive been too busy working on other peoples houses that mine get left till last lol
  4. Just for the record im a lazy barsteward and if i can get a machine to make a job easier i will buy it:biggrin: , same comes to my drive when i complete it, Mr cement truck will definitely be delivering it or my back will never forgive me, it keeps threatening every now and again to fold as it is
  5. Make it a bit bigger and get a price for a cement lorry to pour it in, obviously weigh up the price of materials and tools to do it yourself and consider your back lol
  6. The bulbs should only fit properly one way, that is there is a half moon shape on the top and a notch on the bottom, therefore only allowing proper fitment in one axis,
  7. Do you have a lightened pulley? If its oem then there is a "V" on the inner edge of the pulley, lightened, no timing marks on some.
  8. That's cheaper than buying a kit yourself and possibly messing it up lol
  9. Very nice Si, how much did it cost in the end?
  10. Of course the lsd, my mot guy has had it on the brake machine every year, i guess thats why im getting a whine now when its cold from the diff, or could it need some oil :whistling::biggrin:
  11. 25 will probably be fine once you start using the car more regularly, but before you spend out, i would charge the battery and see if it holds. I take it its a sealed unit so you cant check the cell level?
  12. Your battery seems past its useful use date, normally 3 years or 5 depending on condition. Get yourself a 70amo battery and clean the connections on the starter and you shouldnt have a problem again for another few years. If your battery hasnt been charged much by use, its likely the cells have lost there oomph.
  13. As above, the trouble with plastidip is that you get one chip or bubble it will all peel off, bloody useless for anything that can be touched.

  15. Happy Birthday bud, hope you've had a great day
  16. Dash leds are 501/T10 direct replacement, bst to get 5 way leds that disperse the light, you will get a few dark spots in the dash though as the led is more directional than a filament bulb, but you can add some led strips to eliminate that effect. Pods although you can buy some T3 T4 neo wedges, the drivers pod will look fine but not enough dispersion for the ac pod, so better to solder in 2 3mm leds per hole and 1x led for the wiper switch. Hazard 1x3mm led soldered and ignition ring 2x leds hot glued. Any colour you want really, but best colours for the eyes at night are red or green and next white in the spectrum.
  17. cbower permanent ban as previously banned member Chris Bower
  18. The it is out lol.................. out of the speedo
  19. The bumper support is part of the car so it is removable, bumpers sometimes come with the polystyrene filler strip and the side and top mount brackets. If you are going for fog ducts just remove it.
  20. I like it and would like one with the buttons on to try and utilise, also your red led is out between your temp and speedo :tt2:
  21. If your tubs were weak in the first place then decatting will only advance death quicker lol
  22. I had to remove my bumper support when i fitted mine, i also have fog ducts so didnt affect me, but if you are keeping the fogs you may need to fettle the support bar to fit the bumper as the fogs sit within it. Try taking the polystyrene section off first to see if it helps before binning the whole bar.
  23. A UK car is on the MOT check list ive seen on the garage wall, not sure if its on the database, but pre cat test will be done on a 92
  24. Nice one Dave, i guess it takes a wake up call to have to give up, which makes the decision and determination easier than just wanting to give up :thumbup1:
