  2. Do you want your Kenztwinturbo account combined with this one or the other closing? You cannot have several accounts on the go for obvious reasons.
  3. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?132817-dash-led-conversion Thats using the 24cm strips, but you can buy a 5 metre roll smd for about £8 and place it around the whole inside binnacle. Still use the 501 leds to light the needles.
  4. Could well be a sensor, but also i would take apart your shifter housing to see why the red indicator is at second when you are in park lol. The red indicator is supposed to be attached to the plastic sleeve that moves with the stick, its probably come off and stuck under gear two, this by the way is nothing to do with your problem, just given you something else to do lol.
  5. Engine looking great Davy, as for the thermostat i cant say ive noticed or looked just bought one new and fitted it without thinking about the temp lol Jeff or MJP will probably be best to answer that one if they have come across any differences.

  9. If you have UK clocks there is no need for the convertor, if you want rid of the bong you can either take off the box to the left rear of the dash binnacle or snip the wire to the box.

Just remember its a non turbo, you could buy a reasonable TT for that, but i guess if you want something that is pretty up together ( or was) then £3.5k some would say is a litle high for an N/A although there have been top examples in the past go above £4k, just a thought for you. This car was once being sold for around the £5k mark which was ott, regardless of whats been done to it.
  11. No worries lol, yes he spent alot on it and did look after it, where it went after that, im not sure if much was done, but iirc the dealer was trying his luck on the price he initially paid Nelson.

First pic remove the bulb from the brown holder and you have a 501 bulb, as suggested lol, also there are only 4 for illumination, one next to the temp gauge, between the temp and speedo, one between the speedo and rev and , one between the rev and fuel gauge , the one above the fuel gauge is the low fuel light, which isnt worth changing to led as it wont respond in the same way as a bulb to the signal. The smallest is the T4 is usually the small black holder at the top of the aircon pod and the one you have in your hand is a T5, they come complete with holder when buying a new wedge, so dont get confused with having to remove the bulb from its holder. HTH

  14. 4x T10/501 for the dash and T5 neo wedges for the drivers pod and T5 neo wedges for the temp and panel lumination, a T4 for the demister buttons
  15. Pretty much mate, i also use Amazon if i need something quick and sometimes cheaper.

Hi Leeroy, you will need 4x T10 or 501 5way leds for the dash, forget the ones facing into the dash as they will ruin the effect, however you will also get some dark spots depending on the colour you choose. The drivers pod you can use neo wedges T5 , but although you could use neo wedges on the aircon pod T5 and T4, you wont get a great deal of coverage from one led per hole, due to being directional, rather than omni/multi directional like a bulb and you wont light up the hazard or the wiper switch with anything except soldering an led in there.
  17. Code 34 is the det sensor which could send your engine into limp mode and possibly gearbox too, give Jeff a bell, im sure he could shed some light on the issue.

  20. 66.1mm is the standard bore of the hub, measure the inside diameter of the alloy to give you the other measurement needed. Most after market alloys likely need spigot rings unless specific to the Z32.
  21. Your PTU has probably been relocated under the front nose panel, but there are several things to check for rough running, check out the tech section, lots of info there.
  22. The interior light delay is part of the TCU (time control unit ) in the drivers footwell behind the kickpanel, you may be better off swapping it for an older series that doesnt have the delay working like mine lol.
  23. Never heard of him, but when he says he has the quickest UK N/A then you know he is full of shite lol, but he seems to think they will work, after 17 z's you would know if they would work :whistling:
