No mate i got standard lights for the TT, which had the horrible fiat lights in, but as my rear panel on the NA is blended the leds will stay, but will replace later with newer versions.

Buying advice
Jeff at Zedworld is down the road from you near Birmingham for a service and cam belt change and i wouldnt worry about lack of paperwork for the 3 year gap, it may have been stood or unused. The front crossmember is replaceable, 4 bolts, steering UJ 1 bolt and steering rack unbolted will remove it. If its a good price, its worth getting for a UK zed with a sound body and sills :thumbup1:

Finally getting painted
The plenum could do with another buff, as a daily drive, it takes some upkeep to stay gleaming, but it was a spare i had at the time, so i spent alot of hours on it including removing some of the casting no longer needed.

Finally getting painted
Well it has been a long time coming lol, 4 years in primer, the first 2 beige and last 2 in white. With driving the zed everyday, it was always difficult to pick a good time to get it done, but now ive bought a cheap runaround and going on holiday next week, so the time and chance has come  I started yesterday with some wet and dry on the main bodywork, which is smooth anyway but after years of weathering the primer is very porous and attracts the dirt and grime so easily, so had to get rid of a layer. It will be re- primered with a couple of high build coats before painting, but the least the bodyshop has to do the better for me lol. The bumpers are another story, the rear with lots of crazing and paint cracking so i have had to sand down to the gel coat and will get another going over in the shop, the front lip is cracked on the 99 spec bumper ( hit a curb :whistling:) so a bit of repair to do. Both the bumpers are coming off for the respray, so im going to put them on temporarily with half a dozen bolts to save time, along with some interior to strip to take the door handles off, windscreen washers, aerial and petrol flap. Will take some pics tomorrow and post up of how she is at the moment and hopefully as im away, the guys in the bodyshop can take some progress pics to the finish. Then when i return, i will have about a week to sort the trims etc ready for Coventry and i so look forward to getting the polish out instead of the wet and dry :punk:

99'ish spec replica Head Lights
Its not a rule mate, just trading etiquette if a fellow trader sells or produces a similar line that you are proposing, if you have tried to contact Dave and have had no reply, then i guess there isnt anything more you can do and he is to busy at the moment. - - - Updated - - - +1 :thumbup1:

Hi Mark, have you ran this past CarMad? Dave also sells headlight inserts and would be the right thing to do. Cheers

Are all Z32s ABS? or were there none ABS models. Will a S/R none ABS, BMC Fit?
Only few of the very first na's didn't have abs, after that it became standard until around 96-97. Just pull the fuse, that should stop it working lol

"Simply Japanese" - Beaulieu Motor Museum - Joint southern area meet
I did make a note of it lol, but when the work came in about a month a go i didnt think about a clash, work has been so poor this year that i was pleased to get something in. Im gutted though, cos its the first show after Coventry that my car will be seen painted.

Replacing VIN plates - anyone done this?
Then you may have trouble at the next MOT as they check the VIN number plate, no plate no MOT, that was my experience when i took mine off to respray the crossbeam.

Hesitation and stalling.
Have you balanced the throttle bodies, ie make sure they open together in sync, otherwise that may cause the slight stumble. There is a thread Jeff made in the tech section.

Cylinder 1 misfire SOLVED
I will take some pics of the ecu pins in the week to double check the connection, im still getting a lumpiness and the car is stalling when warmed up, im thinking its the fast idle control valve, because when i switch on the air con the revs die, also i cant adjust the idle with the screw, which would normally indicate a dodgy maf, so cant get the intake percentage where it needs to be. Fix one thing and another occurs :whistling:

brakes who's got what and why on standard calipers
I have standard brakes, refurbed, slotted and drilled discs with mintex pads, as long as you keep an eye on the pads up to the first year with them on or you might end up with the disc wearing and creating a lip, like mine recently :whistling: generally happy with the brakes :thumbup1:

25th anniversary, convoy
I will have to work back the timings to plan the ferry, most likely a 5am, which gets me in to Portsmouth at 5:40am, should be enough time to get up to Coventry for 9:30am.

suggestion
We only have one garage endorsed by the club and if there is a problem all the contact details are available to you to get an issue resolved. This thread is aimed at parts bought from members and either not as described or not received, official traders are a different story and all we can do is mediate or create contact to try and resolve an issue.

Lol, no surprise at all, but naming and shaming in an already small community could be more detrimental than good. It is frustrating when you pay money promptly for parts then have to wait an age for them to turn up, or receive parts as not described, if at all. There can only be so many excuses made, before its taking the piss. There was a feedback system in our last sales template, that has now changed to simplify the process, will look into getting it added on. Then its down to the affected member to make comment to show others who to avoid dealing with. I will post over in policy to gauge feeling on a name and shame and maybe a public vote.

Exhaust tuning
Dont take it to heart Steve, your knowledge is invaluable :thumbup1: I think Dan is trying to be funny and doesnt realise the design and creative hours involved with many parts we buy, have taken, anything bespoke or custom designed is higher priced than mass produced, simply by the time taken to design and research the product to improve on the original

25th anniversary, convoy
I will also be doing M27, M3, A34 so depending on what ferry i get would be good to drive up with some other zeds:thumbup1:
