  1. It depends if you have the original powered bose speakers, or aftermarket, either way they can only work properly one way, so chances are they are wired wrong at the iso end
  2. The breather box is plastic, so they may rattle rather than a knock. Although you say its had new suspension, check the drop links on the anti roll bar, upper camber arms and the lower arms for play. Having new struts and springs alone, with no other new parts can cause stress on the oem bushes, also if its been lowered and nothing else modified then the same thing may occur. Being Tein adjustable set up, i would definitely look into other suspension parts. Does it happen mainly going over bumps in the road, or is it constant? Dont disregard the rear hatch, if the catch is loose or needs adjusting then that will cause knocking and it will sound internal. Graham
  3. LOL, invertors are cheap on ebay mate if you want to get yourself a couple then give them a try again. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/12V-DC-AC-Power-inverter-EL-Lamp-electroluminescent-/230469723875?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35a910e6e3 Graham
  4. Take the rear plastic panels out to have a look. There is very little in the pass rear quarter, the boot cable runs past the petrol flap opener (same cable) does both, you might have a loose bracket. The boot hatch may need adjusting, 3 bolts, when you go over bumps it can knock. There is a breather box down in the rear arch cavity, then there is a polystyrene tray for holding bits and bobs, you may have something in that rolling around. Apart from that, there isnt really anything in the internal rear pass quarter. Then you get to the suspension parts and bushes(external) HTH Graham
  5. The oil pressure gauge is electronic, so takes a wire feed, the only gauge you have there with a pipe is the boost, but that will be air and not water, so you are more likely to have a leak from the targa drain pipe, which runs down the pillar.
  6. I know you would have made sure they werent touching the trim when you tested them, but the damage was probably already done previously. The invertor(s) will be behind the rear pass panel where the interior light relay is, or they may have wired it with an invertor behind each panel to the door switch. The invertor converts 12vDC to 500vAC to light the EL strip, about a fag packet size but thinner lol, although may vary in size. Yes send them to me and i will have a look, I can try to get the scratches out as well if you want. Graham
  7. :happybday: have a nice day :happybday:

  9. It sounds like either the invertor has gone (cheap to buy), or the EL sheets are damaged. More likely to be the invertors as you can actually cut EL to shape and it will still work. The fact that you have bare wires touching the sill wont help So you could either try and get some invertors or strip them, bit of perspex and led light them, up to you lol
  10. I didnt think about doing them, good idea, ive got a spare set in the garage, i will have a play and get back to you. Graham
  11. Looks good Andy, i havent fitted mine yet lol, does it make a big difference?

  15. Hi Neil, where is she based and how old, sorry for being picky lol
  16. A bit of a long shot, but im doing a gig tomorrow night in Chester at the Carden Park Hotel and one of my girl singers has let me down, do any of you guys up North know of any really good female singer, need to be at least semi Pro though, no Karaoke queens Cheers Graham
  17. Welcome guys, all the best  Graham
  18. If you take the panel apart Andy, you can buy red EL card to replace the green http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380162545632&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
  19. Exactly, we wouldnt have dared behave in such a way. Im not saying i was an angel, but with a dad for a prison officer, i didnt do anything that would be considered, out of order. Ive just been having a discussion with my other half about this, as her 10year old is really testing me at the minute and i would love to belt the little bugger sometimes, but she is so bloody soft with him. I dont want to be a tyrant, but he never see's what he has done wrong and he is at the, oh my god stage, everytime you tell him to do something. Rant over lol
  20. Although he went a bit far with the battering, im really pleased, it went his way, albeit been on remand for 8 months. There is no punishment in schools anymore and the kids of today know that noone can touch them, so they think they can get away with anything, its about time there was more that could be done regarding punishment, otherwise they will never learn.
  21. Green is legal, there are a few members on here that have them and passed the MOT, but i think red would look better
  22. Hi Rich, you can use screws to hold it flush, while it bonds, then remove the screws once set. It wont go anywhere, once its bonded. Also once youve then used the P40 and bodyfiller it will be solid. HTH Its probably not the tailgate thats out, it will be the smooth lip spoiler, that will have flexed or twisted slightly. It depends where it has been stored and for how long. Graham
  23. :happybday: Have a nice day:happybday:
  24. You need sika flex or similar to bond the panel, then P40 fibreglass filler to make the bridge between the panel and the skin, then bodyfiller to smooth, as mentioned, rough up the panel and skin with 180 ish grit snadpaper, it will make it easier to bond the two surfaces
  25. Most of the big ones, like Hertz, Avis etc most do one way but they charge you for the privelage
