When you recieve your calendar
Sorry - just checked the slip - £2.39 not £2.85. I can take a photo of the slip from the post office and post it here if you want. I think the extra charge is to disuade people from doing this sort of thing. Like I said, I'm not bothered about the money. Just glad to hear I wasn't the only one!

Storing a Z
Ferrari - you jammy barsteward! Lend us £10 to mend the shed - I can pay you back when I get a postal order from Australia. I once head salt stays on the roads until April or May. Dunno if it's true but motorbikes (which corrode very fast) seem to rot still in March at the very least. Edit A bloke I know stored his Boxster over last winter - it ****ed the cats and cost £1200 to fix.

Little advice please
I have an NA and bought it after driving a TT. I just went to the best car I could regardless of spec. The NA is swift but not really fast. A TT running right is quite a bit quicker and much easier to tune. If you want a fast car, the TT's the way forward. I think the worst turbos can do is cost you £1500-£2000 to replace if they go. As for fuel costs, NA are better round town, TT on motorway due to higher overall gearing. Overall the NA is probably a fraction cheaper on fuel but there's probably very little in it. As for leather you can always get a decent interior (4 seats) for about £300 I think if you find a car you really like with fabric seats.

£10000 what would you buy
They sold Supra until 2002 and I think TTs came out in the UK in 1999. Anyway, I didn't mean to suggest the Supra or Cupra were bad ideas. I'm sure he'll consider all the suggestions - there's no bad ideas, blue sky thinking and all that! Perhaps we can brainstorm with DeBono's Seven Hats technique next
