I would just like to say that it aint your place to be pissed off He never mentioned your name he never threw any alligations all he did was ask for advice. As I said I wouldnt take sides just dont like to see anyone fall out. I really loved that car, and I have had the boot on both feet, trust me. To hear more and more problems are happening with the car I loved so much is killing me. I wouldn't have sold her if didn't need to fund my wedding. It would take much to see where the car came from, just a quick post search and so it was most certainly directed at me. I am not the type to have a rant, or have a go at anyone, as you can see from my 700+ posts over the past 2 years. So when I see this, I feel entitled to voice my opinion.
November 10, 200618 yr I understand Rucksak is pissed off. Who wouldn't be? But I don't think Steve deliberately sold a car he knew had problems.

In no way am I implying that steve done him over...... Fookin hell never even entered in my head. I was just saying that whatever way you look at it no one could blame rucksack getting the hump and all I saw was the pair of you ending up having a row. Cars go wrong all the time. Sorry if you thought I was implying anything else other than an unbias opinion mate. I only hope the two of you can sort something out. I dont think steve should foot the bill though. Especially if the car was sound when sold.
November 11, 200618 yr on a more light harted note, i don't really know what happened but whatever it was it could have been worse, someone could have bought my zed  Membership No 0780 INSURANCE GOOFA Datascan, Conzult, ECUTalk and a few others I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:
November 11, 200618 yr I bought my tt on the assumption as i was buying from someone who knew his zed's and his word was it was spot on for a tt and it'd be sorted before i got it and he wouldn't sell it to me till he knew it was 100%. 2 weeks later i had to foot a bill for 600 quid to sort the whole rear suspension out then i had problems with it running badly, the brakes have been creap and the discs need replacing and it's taken me till now to honestly say it's running alright. BUT i accepted that i bought it without checking it over myself and if he honestly believed the car was alright before he sold it to me then it wasn't his fault if it went wrong straight after. If you want to buy a car with some sort of backup then buy it from the garage for more money so you have some fall back. No point moaning about things that have gone wrong since buying it in my opinion. I'm almost happy with my zed now and the engine is excellent without any smoke and that's the important thing at the end of the day.
November 11, 200618 yr these are old cars now, and shouldnt be expected to be 100% trouble free. If you want reliability buy a new car, and even that aint a guarantee that everything is going to be alright, I know a few people that have had nothing but bother from brand new cars. what aint right is when people do bodge jobs on cars to hide faults then sell them, then the buyer finds out a couple of weeks later that he has a huge bill to pay (dont think this is the case in this instance)
November 11, 200618 yr i wouldn't think a long standing member would hide major faults on a car he was selling, it's not even fair to presume it either
November 11, 200618 yr i wouldn't think a long standing member would hide major faults on a car he was selling, it's not even fair to presume it either I didnt pressume he did, thats why i said this (dont think this is the case in this instance) im more implying these are old cars now, and shouldnt be expected to be 100% trouble free. :)
November 11, 200618 yr I didnt pressume he did, thats why i said this im more implying :) lol, sorry matey, didn't mean it like that. I meant as in you'd have to be pretty stupid to sell a dodgy car on here as a long standing member, wasn't having a go :D
Rant removed!
