Gouranga
Cool mate - the newer sports bikes are amazing. Light and faaaaaast. That new ZZR1400 makes 170-odd bhp at the rear wheel. Even this little CBR of mine feels amazingly quick - I think it'd mash a standard TT Zed, even from a 70mph rolling start. And it's stunning round corners and on the brakes - only weighs 170kg. I'm planning to ride to Slovenia, Romania and Hungary on it with me mate who's just bought a CBR too. Probably. Wife permitting. ;)

NZR Anyone ever kept Birds of Prey?
Lol I'm just winding you up mate! :duffer: :duffer: I don't think there's many ospreys in Peterborough! Certainly not in my loft! There's a stack of old jazz mags but no birds of prey!

Gouranga
Hey Iain! How's the exup? I bought a CBR600Sport recently. Mad little thing! So anyone know if it's a bridge maintenance company or a Hari Krishna thing? Like I said I googled it a year ago with no luck. It's mad - the answers are there for the taking these days! I like the way computer games got a hold of it too! Knock down all the monks and it appears! Counter culture!
-
Gouranga
I guess as philosphys go, it's not a bad one though - say Gouranga and be happy!
-
Gouranga
 I should tell the Krishnas that but they generally won't be argued with and have lots of spare time to try.

Gouranga
Well I never. I did google it a year ago or so with no real result. 'ow queer! There goes my supersticion. Fookin new-age nonces!

NZR Anyone ever kept Birds of Prey?
There's a couple of ospreys nesting in my roof. I was going to get the council to gas them but there's some eggs up there too if anyone wants them.

Gouranga
I keep seeing this written on bridges. Any idea what it means? I've even developed my own supersticion now and whenever I pass under a bridge with it on I have to say "gouranga" out loud. And I'm not the supersticious sort. I don't believe in ghosts, spirits, adam and eve or pixies or anything. Any ideas before I go mad? :duffer: :duffer: :duffer:

Or a slap if your tea's not on the table when you get it. I heard they were passing a law forbidding one to drink and drive too. If that ever happens I shall give up touring forever.

I'm off :(
Have a good time mate - easy on the cider and acid ;)

We shouldn't use "it's evolution / animals do it" as an argument or we'd all be eating each other's babies.

It was only at walking pace - didn't do her any real harm. Not that I'm making excuses on his behalf. Maybe his tea wasn't on the table when he got in or something as well? You give them an inch etc.

Skyline price help please
What year is it? What history does it have? WHat condition is it in? What's wrong with it (there's always something....)?

how many miles
I used to think that too. But one day, low on petrol one appeared. You can't see it until it lights up. *although if you run out of fuel waiting for it to come on, don't blame me - the bulb could have gone or something! lol

You'd think with all that they could get a job here anyway. Still, they sure look nice. A mate got a Thai one - he is about 45, she is young and very pretty. He caught her webcamming with some young lad back in Thailand and they had an argument and he ended up running her over in his car!

M6's I've shat em
Sounds good mate. But have to say I'm with Kirbz - if he'd wanted to he could have had you.

Manual Or Auto
Auto boxes can cause problems if not well cared for - but if you're thinking of converting it to manual wouldn't really matter. In terms of performance there's very little to choose between them. One is 0.1 secs quicker to 100mph, the other 0.1 faster over a standing 1/4 mile. I have an auto and really like it.

My cars finished....What do you think?
Looking great. Dark tinted side repeaters look nice - never seent them before.

How did you get to a 300zx?
Christ Scoops - long post. As for me... come with me... follow me.... stand by me...... come on.... just a little further... that's it, come this way..... come with me... follow me.... stand by me...... come on.... just a little further...come along now... come with me... follow me.... stand by me...... come on...follow me.... just a little further........ come with me... follow me.... stand by me...... come on.... just a little further.....now, see.....this is the house where I was born. When I was a baby my mother sat me on her knee and said to me: "It's a turbulent world, you must try and bring peace and harmony where ever you go." So I became a waiter. Well, it's not muh of a philosophy... but.... well fuk you! I can live my life my own way! Fuk you! Fuk off!! Sorry - no, I always liked motorbikes. When I got them I was jealous as car drivers stayed warm and dry and could carry things more easily. My dad got a S13 200SX and I was very impressed. I saw the 300ZX about then too. Later I had a 200SX and now a 300ZX. I still like motorbikes though. I can't see me gowing out of it all either. Everyone has 'something' - drugs, booze, filthy sexual habits, gambling... for me it's cars and bikes (and the others except gambling). It's not much of a philosophy but... etc

Chip sale on ebay - what are your thoughts?
I'm afraid you need to be a paid up member to PM. I was reluctant to pay £20 to some wierdo internet club but it was well worth it in the end.

b@stard car!!!
If it's valve seals can't you fix it by putting a pair of tights in the rocker box cover - or something? ;)
-
4 wheel drive zed
You see them advertised but generally it's people who've got confused with 4 wheel steering. I've never seen a 4WD Zed.
-
b@stard car!!!
£1500 + I think unless you do a lot of it yourself :(
-
1st Sh!t day with the Zed....
Sorry to hear that mate - what a rotten bit of luck. Hope you get it sorted without too much more hassle / expense.
