Orbital polisher advice
haha Jim, cheeky monkey, still need to get the purple one booked in so i can get that sorted and decide what to do with it.... i can pick up the other engine then as well, get it out of your way ;) Richard, if you want to come and try it out on the green zed, you are more than welcome, as it really does need a respray and has lacquer peel, so you cant do any more damage to it.

50th Anniversary Celebration and parade lap at Silverstone (Japfest 5th May 2019)
we just need the password to be able to order tickets for the relevant club. i see there are clubs registered for 350z-uk and also zclub/nissansportz so i am not sure which of these we are joining either?

fix accessory relay?
Didn't manage to finish this job that particular weekend as ran out time and light, then a couple of days after that my back was done in and have been suffering since. :( Not sure if it was the crawling in the footwell or moving the seat into the garage, but obviously done something wrong there that my back didn't like. (doesn't like manual work i reckon...) So have not been able to get in there and pull the relays to test them, or to glue up the drain tube either, so i can't take up your offer of replacement relays until i am better, and then have to make sure i don't do myself in again trying to put it all back together again...

300zx.co.uk owners club Z32 30th anniversary gathering and AGM
they do not reserve parking for anyone, so although i have discussed about us attending, i haven't formally booked us for anything. I did initially ask about holding the AGM there in the evening or having a club meet there, but it wasn't practical when they could not guarantee any parking. So as i thought it might only be a handful of us that would actually be at the hotel early enough to go, i wasn't going to book anything, just turn up.... Depends how many sign up for the idea, i will let them know if it starts to turn into a big number ;)

300zx.co.uk owners club Z32 30th anniversary gathering and AGM
There is a plan for a club visit to Caffeine & Machine on Saturday afternoon which is less than 30 minute drive from the hotel. So if you want to join us we plan to meet at the hotel from 11am and leave by midday, returning by 4pm latest to enable check-in, freshen up etc before dinner and AGM. Hopefully Simon will update the first post and add this to the itinerary as well :)

Sports and Classic by the Lake - Bury St Edmunds - Sunday 1st September 2019
Have received the entry form for the event this year. Always a nice turnout of interesting cars, supporting a good cause raising money for a local hospice. https://stnicholashospice.org.uk/fundraising-events/classic-and-sports-cars-by-the-lake/

There isn't really a closing date. Hopefully if we use up the room allocation, they will have enough spare to allocate some more to us. There is a cancellation policy, which i think is a week before the event.

fix accessory relay?
my thoughts exactly! was just checking with a local nissan dealer as well, just in case. £40.04 + vat with my local dealer, 3-4 days lead time. so probably worth a call to Mike Feeney in that case. will wait until i have checked mine out first though.

fix accessory relay?
thanks Joel. nissan4u.com thats the other one i was trying to remember, was trawling my bookmarks. i knew there was another one and couldn't recall, thanks. thought it might be worth getting them anyway before i put it all back together again...(try)

Carbon Fibre Scuttle Panel posible group buy. Register of interest
maybe it was just me then, being a pleb with my awkward finger  although i didnt have enough oem fasteners on this zed, as a couple were broken or missing, so i will need to order some replacements. can try on the blue one as i replaced those previously, but i need a new battery before i can extract it from its current home, as it wont hold a charge :(

did you need to modify any of the mounting holes on the small piece Gary, e.g. just to enlarge them to make the clips fit? it seems like they are the same molds he has acquired, so they should fit identically to yours in that case.

fix accessory relay?
thanks Andrew, the hardest one to get to while not being able to completely remove the fuse box, typically

Carbon Fibre Scuttle Panel posible group buy. Register of interest
seems that way Ian, i guess he got those old molds then. was that a problem before as well? i will take them back with a car to show him the issues once i get the car back together again. if we change the molds too much, then we may have to pay for new ones, which we should be able to do as a club if we have enough signed up for the group buy. so i would prefer to discuss with him about making them slightly curved to fit the screen better if possible, especially the short one. i hope he gets a positive result about discussing the extra ribs being put in then. it might make a difference with the car, if we can adjust where we actually need the gaps to be and make them more relevant rather than just try to fit in with the OEM ones?

fix accessory relay?
well, what a 'kin pain in the neck job that is, especially the t-top drain. so the drain tube was disconnected, surprise surprise, culprit found. haven't fixed it yet, as i haven't got the fuse box out yet. got most of the fusebox connections undone, but i cant get to some at the back, and cant get to some of the relays, but i have been able to move it out enough to see and get my hand in to find the drain tube problem at least. all the time i was cursing and swearing my way through it i was thinking "should have sent it to Jimmer, wish i'd sent it Jimmer, i think i'll send it to Jimmer" took the seat out, moved the bonnet pull moved the accelerator pedal, following a few guides i found from JeffTT and vodkashots, :thumbup1: struggled quite a bit trying to get more access to the back of the fusebox for the other connections, and doesnt seem enough slack on the loom, so am not sure how i can get there. any more ideas? also, any diagrams or pointers to which is the accessory relay, so i can at least pull the correct one to check if i can get to it?
