  1. Likely you have a small leak. Check the pipes at the rear where they start to go over the axle. A resourceful mechanic should be able cut away bad section and fit in new bit with joints. Nissan dealer will likely use std replacemant part = arm+leg!
  2. Hmmm, you need to check air, spark and fuel. Any restriction the breathing? intake a bit clogged? air filter choked? Intercooler not operating properly? Ignition timing out? Det sensor doesn't function above 3,500 rpm. Now check fuel supply.
  3. Here's some useful info on turbo replacement; either for yourself or your friendly local mechanic. (Unless he's done several already - why be sexist mebbe that's a 'she'.) http://www.ttzd.com/tech/turbotech.html Looks like a serious job!
  4. U and Two Pipes. Didn't twig initially that u have to submit first then edit.;)
  5. I can help u with Scissor/Lamborghini doors and Suicide doors. As far as know Gull wing is not possible for the Zed. Have you tried searching using Google?
  6. You will find all you want to know about Linux by using Google and searching the web. You could even buy a book or two. This thread should not be in this forum - hardly Zed specific!
  7. That e-m address bounced back to me. Check spelling. File too big to attach here.
  8. Y r u trying to use Linux?? It's very specialised. You might as well try to use Phillips 2000 for video recording...
  9. You'd need 205/30/20 to keep the same diameter. That's a thin aspect ratio! Ride iffy. Try the main American site - somebody there might have done. You would be very bold to try it! ;)
  10. See if I can do this now:
  11. imho = in my humble opinion and imffho = in my far from humble opinion ;)
  12. I see from another thread in the private forum that you are going to do some very serious work. In that case, sure change the colour. Royal Blue towards indigo/violet? Get the paint shade cards out!
  13. Has anyone replaced their std arb/asb with an after-market kit? e.g. Suspension Techniques. Did not notice when last under my Zed but I think that the std units are hollow and relatively thin
  14. Hey James! That's a very nice job!
  15. Try search on eBay using '300ZX' and 'Available to Uk' or paint the existing one.
  16. A lot ~ probably. Will have pair of t rods with polyurethane bushes fs soon as I am fitting Pillow Ball rods. Or go straght for PB rods from here: http://www11.ocn.ne.jp/~jdpshop/newparts_stock_2.htm#pillow_balltension_rod_nissan about £132 inc delivery to UK
  17. I've just bought three of these gauges from icon along with pod and other bits. Look ok to me; not yet arrived but I'll let you know. Should be more accurate than analogue gauges.
  18. Perhaps this will help you: http://www.ttzd.com/tech/timingbelttech.html
  19. Are the sparks plugs leads on in the right sequence? (That may be a duh question.) Is the timing right? Just because the plugs spark out does not always guarantee that they will under compression. (PTU is known to fail on Jap Zeds, up to '90 I think.) This site has a lot of tech help: http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnettech/tech.aspx I may have caught this prob part way but was the car ok one day and not the next or had you been doing some work on it? It's only a machine so there will be answer somewhere - 'tho perhaps you have been a bad lad in a previous existence and this revenge........ (Just because you are paranoic does mean to say that they are not really out to get you:D )
  20. Also interested in 18" wheels.... 2off 7.5" and 2off 9"
  21. Steve, I am glad you said that because I bought them for £360 about an hour and half after I posted the question!
  22. oh:eek: I was looking in the bay - thought it an odd question. Aerial? bit short 'tho. Parking sensor? Headlight washer?
