  1. Mebbe a touch of heat? eg with electric paint stripper rather than flame.
  2. What d'u mean 'sort out'?? btw, not breeze block but clinker block.
  3. Ask your supplier to fax you some more.
  4. Sounds like something is overheating. Check that the cpu fan is spinning properly. 'SiSoft Sandra' ~ the std prog is free, you can get it off 'net and you'll find it on the cover disc of October 'Computer Shopper'. Amonst other things it will let you check the cpu temperature 'on the fly'. When you next have to restart, go into 'setup' where you can check the cpu temperature. Other suspect component/s is/are memory
  5. You should have SMART in your m/c; Is it enabled? Go into set-up and see. (SMART = Self Monitoring And Reporting Technology) Fix-It utilities is a useful suite of programs.
  6. In theory they ought to allow more pressure where it is really needed. Has anyone fitted them and found that to be right? Could you feel the difference when braking? tia
  7. You cannot do scandisk with Windows XP. Open Command Prompt and run chkdsk /f Then defrag. Have you run Disc Cleanup in System Tools?
  8. Sweden, here's another pic.
  9. Class A , 60 watts per channel. Valve pre-amp. Naim CD5 front end and Ruark speakers. Total cost = price of decent Zed!
  10. The thing to look for is Pitch Circle Diameter. For the 300ZX it is 5 x 114. Oh, and don't forget offset. If you go to http://www.tirerack.com you can call up picture of what various tyres look like on a Zed.
  11. You want inspiration? You have plenty of time? Take a browse thro' this lot: http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages/search_results.pl?make=Nissan&model=300ZX&start=21&show=20
  12. Leezx ~ you fancied Lambo Orange. [/img]
  13. Drives the LH speaker.
  14. Good selection of bulbs on eBay, search 'Available to uk'.
  15. Boost gauge install here: http://www.ttzd.com/tech/boosttech.html Dunno whether the Autometer feed will directly fit on the existing sender; you might need 'T' or other adaptor. Unless you drain the oil out, have someone handy to hand you parts/put their finger over the hole while you fiddle about. The other tip would be to get someone else to do it...
  16. Here's a tweak that'll cost you nowt: http://www.ttzd.com/tech/timingtech.html
  17. AdamR! That's a lot of goodies you have there... Twin Power Ignition Amplifier?
  18. I think that you should be able to test that at the pump control unit.
  19. Not done it - on list of 'maybe'. There's so much else I fancy doing first. Not heard of anyone in this country doing it; our American cousins do that sort of thing. Send me your e-mail address and then I can let you have details on how to do it. The file is too big to attach here.
  20. Um, not sure what you're trying to achieve. Harness goes down near side of boot and then a branch of it disappears thro' floor, one part of which is the connection to the fuel pump unit. Lift the panel and have a look!
  21. No! that's the anti-lock braking system. The fuel pump control unit is a behind the passenger's seat at the side. The fp relay is near driver's door hinge pillar - about where your knee would be. There's a pump cancel relay by the pump. Call Luke at the Zcentre and he'll send you a useful manual on disc; a tenner I think. (I've assumed the you have a UK 2+2)
  22. This looks good, tho' not so sure about the shape of the front end. (Off http://www.300zx-mods.co.uk ~ thnx)
