Blitz wheels at Trax
You could always try the line: "If you really loved me, you wouldn't make me sell my Zed.";) Oh dear, she might respond with: "If you really loved me then you wouldn't mind selling your Zed." Damn.:o

Piss poor spark
hmm, still makes no real sense. If the fuel/air mix is right and the spark is at the right time then it should fire even 'tho the chambers are down. It is not as tho' you've no pressure at all. You rescue that socket? Any chance that the firing order is out?

Any Offers ???
Brakes won't work properly without engine running. Better to have front-end lifted tow or, better still, on low-loader.

Piss poor spark
I thought that you said that compression was down on one cylinder? - that should not stop it running, albeit not at its best. If air is ok and fuel and sparks, then it should run! There must be something that you've missed; perhaps SE will find it and you'll have a 'Doh' moment. Infuriating.

Did you check that the timing is correct?

Piss poor spark
Don't know the diameter of that pipe but could you put the magnet inside a plastic pipe and then poke that down? Can you see the socket? Other possibility is one of those thin flexible widgets with little claws that spring out when you press a plunger.

Loads of useful tech. info here: http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnettech/tech.aspx Oil cooler for autobox good idea. No need to change intercoolers at this stage. Water temperature gauge and oil pressure gauge will give you essential information. How hard are going use your car? Shell Optimax is good for your engine. Keep the oil topped up and regularly changed as noted b4.

strange ECU, help required
Heh, heh........when you start to poke about with the electronics on a Zed, it's gonna cost. Sheesh! 300 horses ought to be enough. Have you fitted an induction kit? Let the thing breathe Improved the brakes? (You could take Bugatti's attitude to a customer who complained about the brakes.... "M'sieur, I make my cars to go, not to stop.")

Piss poor spark
Have you tried a new coil?

Piss poor spark
There's no way that you should be able to stand the proper spark power!! Are your leads recent? There surely must be some high resistence in the circuit sapping the current. If you have a rotten spark out, then it'll be worse in the cylinder.

Wrong car mate
Yuck. The wheels are ok.

Rockin Rocker Covers
Nice :) If you ask him nicely, Smithy will likely do you a special deal for several shiny bits together. Secondhand shiny parts probably as available as hen's teeth. Getting the plenum clean and tidy is a real pain and does yr back in.

tension rod removal
Probably to do with trying to isolate road noise. I ran with poly bushes and found the steering was much better and did not notice any significant rise in road noise. Now have pillow ball rods which are even better, particularly noticable improvement on tight bends. Not done it yet but I read that beefier solid anti-roll bars make a good improvement in handling by keeping the wheels in better contact with ground.

Body kit installation
The simplest spoiler is the glass fibre version of the std kit. Yes, it is stuck on. If you go for non-std spoiler then you'll need the part that covers the holes left by the std. spoiler.

some mods needed
Induction kit is the first goody to add. Polyurethane bushes will make it steer and ride better. Nice set of alloy wheels, say 18" - won't make it faster but more wheel = less tyre = better to look at. Turbo timer waste of money, just drive the last mile or so without blasting the turbos. Oil pressure and water temp gauges useful. You may well find that your target spend will be exceeded if you keep attending this site and seeing what other folks do. ;) ;) btw 'exhaust induction' makes no sense. ps keep your eye on oil level and change it at 3000/4000 miles; use only top quality oil.

tension rod removal
You've plenty of time to get and study this: http://www.ttzd.com/tech/tensionrodstech.html I do have a pair of rods with polyurethane bushes fitted for sale. Just fitted pillow ball rods. The recently reported troubles blamed on rods with poly bushes may be also blamed on oversize wheels. My wheels are std 7.5", no problem with poly'd rods; better steering too.

tension rod removal
Easiest job you'll ever do! 15mins Spray the bolts with WD40 or similar first, then do another little job/have a cup of tea/coffee while it creeps along the threads.

Think I've seen them advertised on eBay.

D'u mean one of these?

Centre brakelight.
I think that paid £100 at Zcentre (+v.a.t.). Bought brakelight and set of polyurethane bushes at the same time so it was lumped in with that. (Poly bushes highly recommended)
