  1. Bridgestone Potenza re050a

Wrong order! Induction kit first. Do that yourself. BOVs are for 'show' don't affect performance. Beware de-catting, not good for high mileage engine. If you are boosting then you must have after-market gauge. Intercoolers not really needed until high 300bhp 'though I hear that the Jap spec are not as good as on UK car.
  4. I've asked the seller if he wants direct enquires. Nobody else bid for them! They're 'W' rated, not that I would dream of using the full facility.;) ;)
  5. New, still have all the moulding pips on tread.
  6. This is the wheel:
  7. They're 18"; off eBay. A lot cheaper than full retail.
  8. Hot air gun might help shift the goo. Xylene should clean it off. (Wholesale paint supply merchant should have that.)
  9. These came yesterday (£360:) ): All I need now is some wheels...... Mebbe Momo X1 with red inserts.
  10. Anyone who has a Zed in that colour can find the number on the car. If no-one here, try US and Au Zed sites. Cost will depend on quality and whether you change the bay too. That will need the engine out! In UK, in the range £1000 - £3000 Colour change will always be more expensive. Might make more sense to find one already in that colour!

Simplest upgrade is induction kit. To save you researching, Apexi is the best.
  12. They sound like the emission control pipes that go to a small unit just behind the wing.
  13. Definitely 'Buyer Beware' but imagine you had bought from a private seller, then you would be even worse off! You do at least have some protection buying from a dealer. I was lucky, I'm third owner of UK spec with fnsh.

Hey Pambos! Listen to shaunmac, manual is the one. Auto is great for repmobile and tooling around town but it's no fun in a sports car.
  15. Four nuns died in a car crash. At the gates of heaven they had to stand in line for their check by St. Peter. He asked the first nun whether she had had any contact with a male member. She said that had put her finger on one once. He told to wash that finger in the font of holy water. He asked the second nun the same question and she admitted that that she once had put her hand right round one. He told her to put her whole hand into the holy water. At which point the nun last in line pushed in front and said that she was not to gargle with that water after the third one had put her bum in it.
  16. Manual online at http://www.300zx.org.uk/tech_00.htm or Luke at http://www.zcentre.co.uk/index.html will sell you a disc. Useful info here http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnettech/tech.aspx
  17. Yes, the vendor stated clearly that there were 2 wheels. If was for all four there's no way that you would have beaten me in the bidding at that price! You may well be horrified at the cost of shipping them from England and then you'll need to buy another pair for the rear. eek. I asked the seller a couple of times about the other 2 but he did not say. Perhaps the car had a wrecked rear end and the wheels didn't survive. You live on Cyprus and you have a Zed? I hate you already....;) It just ain't fair.
  18. Nar, not that critical; that room is fine. If you can see the dots then you are too close. More important is comfortable seating, good ventilation and some other low level lighting not reflecting in the screen. I just love this little guy.
  19. The short answer is no. Better to sell your auto and buy manual. If you are an experienced car mechanic, or have a friend who is, and you get a Z gearbox cheaply then ok. btw, did you factor in the cost of shipping when you bought those Z1? (It was me bidding against you:) )

Listen to Stuart. Buy manual TT, fit tc or learn to control your right foot! Two Zeds, have you considered the cost of insurance??
  21. Best thing you can do is to sell your Zed. You evidently are the sort of foul-mouthed person that gets decent owners a bad name. You know the law, if you flout it in such way and get caught then you only have yourself to blame. If you can't stand the heat, keep out of the kitchen and don't whinge.
