Due to heat soak I need to reduce under bonnet temperature so may need to fit vents into the bonnet. Any opinions on types?

OMG I can't wait!!!
Prize for you :duffer: I really can't wait, the inlaws are up this weekend so it took alot of sulking to be allowed to go and get it as I should be home with them. It seems the main problem was the twin air intake/combo wasn't working and after some conversation between Jeff, me and Mr Dixon we decided to put it back to a single intake and get a new chip. This will limit the power with the MAF but for now but it means I can run it in without getting silly as the wastegate spring is only 11psi. It'll give me time to save some cash for a stand alone system once it's run and then hopefully the serious power begins :D The suspension has had some rear and front camber adjusters fitted. Once the chip was swapped Jeff worked his magic to find the other faults, Jeffs report; 1) 3 x spark plugs where fouled and had a very short spark burn time so was unable to completely burn the fuel in cylinder 1, 4 and 6. 2) The ignition timing was 3 deg retarded ( static) 3) There was some serious air/ boost leaks on the turbo connector on the n/s, the o/s front lower intake 4) Det sensor fault retarding ignition 10 deg ( electronic) 5) Throttle balance way out ( more air to one side than the other ) 6) Base idle too low ( leads to poor pick up when starting + aux air valve working out of range) 7) Accelerator and cruise control cables too tight ( causing tps hard idle to be marginally open) 8) Neutral switch not present from gearbox Ok so now we have a car that is drive-able and has kick ass boost and super loud dump valves, there is an area in the rev range where the fuelling is tad too much and causes a slight stumble and a puff of black smoke when backing off from high boost, this needs dialling out within the ecu mapping and would benefit from been done on a rolling road or alternatively a Z1 motorsports chip from the US may well work better off the shelf, your choice really but at the moment it needs to get some miles under its belt as such so the ecu can self learn Up tomorrow to collect and a 2 hr drive home, have a collection of CD's but may just have the radio off to listed to the sweet sound of a V6 with an external wastegate!!!!:D:D:D

evo brembo calipers
I think 5 onwards are the same and are 4 pot Brembos and quite big, pictures here http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=129689 The 350 discs are 324mm and go straight on, if the R33 are the same size I assume they will work to.

seen a new focus rs today
I stand corrected, from £26,395 but compared to the Astra that's cheap

seen a new focus rs today
Had a look at a customers one a few weeks back, mapped to over 350 bhp. Think they are around 25k

evo brembo calipers
I have EVO calipers with 350 discs and they work really well and are a cheap alternative, only a bracket needed to mount them.
