  1. Am i right in thinking that the maf is on the way out? It used to hiccup when it spooled but now it does it all the time. I had put the maf in the airing cupboard overnight and it seemed to fix it. Now it does it all the time. Worst of all when its cold, i assume thats because the hotter it gets the more it dries the maf out. Thanks guys Mark
  2. Cheers man, ive done that part up top to 71mm circular. I hope it fits. I saw the lugs on another badge, i think they would snap off making it the way i have. Im just gonna glue it on. Whats the rear like? I know its bigger, but does it have a concaved surface, and does it bend over the ridge down the boot? Thanks guys
  3. Its mainly the rear of the badge i need to get right, if it concaved atall, i think that one is 120 diameter, could be wrong though
  4. Ah thanks alot man, ive actually got a dimension so hopefully they will match up at 71mm accross and 6mm high overall. If he could get the rear one also would be really helpful. If my measurement is wrong this will be a waste :D No fixings, im just gonna glue it on.
  5. cheers bud, its an 05 she has, but i think its the one before the brand brand new one out now
  6. I need to ask a favour from you if you do. The badge on the front, the vauxhall badge. What are its dimensions and how is it attatched? Would be a great help, ive got a xmas present in mind for my girlfriend Thanks guys. Mark
  7. No its not the pedal, it feels like its the plate itself, if you do a fast take off it barely squeaks, if you do it carefully it wont squeak, but most of the time it does. It doesnt judder in first gear.
  8. It doesnt smell or smoke, I think theres a little bit of slack, like just in the movement of the pedal, I dont think it slips, it certainly pulls well enough so i dont think it does. I didnt put it in but the guy i bought it off said it had a paddle clutch and fidanza flywheel fitted, i would have thought if that was true they would have done it properly.
  9. What does this mean guys, I got the impression that because its got a high performance clutch its been fettled with and someone didnt grease the bearing when putting it back together, but ive searched on google and its saying its a disaster in the making?
  10. Yeah i have a friend on the end of the road, if you see me gimme a wave. Im in a red monster ;) let us know how the oil change goes
  11. whoa your from dunstable. Do you have the silver one on great northern road? Id say oil in the gearbox oil is low aswell.
  12. If i could find my mouse id knock you up an image.
  13. Take the maf off tonight with the filter and put them in the airing cupboard ready for tomorrow, its only a 5 min job, should be fine by tomorrow (if its the same problem i had obviously)
  14. Id say maf, its similar to what i was getting, once id been driving for about half hour anything that had got wet (maf or filter) was nice and dry and it was running perfectly again.
  15. did you cut slice pannel or just rough sizes, and heat wrapped it and cut the excess off? Was it easy to do
  16. That looks awesome mate, love matt black stuff
  17. Ive seen alot of keyying lately, at new case at least every 3 days, seems the scumbag thing to do at the moment. A** holes
  18. Really for any car, i thought the boot might be a slightly different shape due to the rear window, but thats good to know
  19. I love this spoiler, I cant seem to find it anywhere for a 2 seater though
  20. As title, their in america but they have the gauges i want, Ive just been a victim of card fraud so im a bit dubious of overseas transactions. Cheers Mark
  21. Haha, yeah, twin jet engines instead of turbos.
  22. stop speeding :D its the speed limit bong, think its past 100kmph, not sure though
  23. Are the front plastic under arch pannels near the intercoolers essential. One of mine was missing already so i took the other out to match. I thought it would be better for the air flow round there, but could be wrong. Are they designed atall to increase air flow to the coolers? Cheers Mark
