Got a bit carried away and ended up finishing it. Thats how i want my interior, will start saving for red suede. I have just painted my original wheels black like so... So ill be doing that on the model tomorrow. Its a bit sad i know, but i enjoyed it greatly, i feel a 350z coming on next

Its the tamiya yeah. I did wonder about the bonnet, its clear though. Was gonna paint it the same colours as mine with a black bonnet and keep it open, but i cant be bothered to make a bonnet strut. Ans i see what you mean about the paints, i cut the list needed down to 10 paints, still cost a bit.

I just sprayed up my standard wheels all nice wanting to put them on and they wont even fit. Cheers. (ps i know the disc is rusty, it hasnt moved over christmas :D)

Your lights silverbullet is what im after but with a coat of gloss on after. If thats good for the MOT then it should be fine. And that is a very good idea pbryant knight

Ah i give up trying to post pictures, basically i want the rear lights all gloss black (bar the reflector if thats the legality) then where the zed has a black mouth with the various lights in at the front, i want them to be invisible with the mouth, so satin black. The side repeaters im contemplating doing those red as ive got a red car. Of not they will be gloss black like the rears. I do think its down the MOTer in the end, might just keep my eye out for some cheap spares

It makes perfect sense, but as long as it is clearly visible whats the problem. I dont know if there is a special test if a light is suspect tinted too much like they do with tinted windows

On my e30 i had jet black indicators up front and side and jet black lights, i never had any trouble with police, but i did always put spares on for the MOT as it only took me 10 minutes and better to be safe than to have a retest
