I'm up in Newcastle a lot when I visit my folks. I know Vern is around the corner but I've never seen another Zed in Castle/Stoke OR on the near 3hr drive there all the way from London (or back!)...:thumbdown: It's as if they all go into hiding...not that I blame them...I'd be ashamed if I was to come against my Zed too...:whistling:

They certainly look good but I think I'd want some functionality out of them too....

I saw the calipers on sale on ebay and they did appear to be the very same and from the same seller. Obviously this is not substantiated and is only my opinion.... I didn't notice a weld but that's because I didn't even bother to inspect them any further than to notice that they were the wrong colour and there were no discs in the box! IF they are the same calipers then saying he bought them for a project and is selling due to poor health is a load of tosh!! They came off his TT and have been used a more than enough by the seller already. I know this because I thought I was buying the Brembos off his NA and he sent me the wrong ones 'cos he couldn't get the NA out of the garage'.... Good luck Turbocraigy but I would also add that as you can see the forum is full of very helpful and friendly people and for the advice and support you can get (and have received so far!!) a £20 subscription is nothing. Better to keep everyone in the good books than come across as a freeloader from the get-go IMO....

Really feel for you Richie. I had a very poor experience with Redbaron only a few weeks ago but thanks to Bri I managed to get a refund. I really hope this all gets sorted for you bud. As for TurboCraigy's R33 brembos - I believe they were the very same ones that were sent to me which were then listed on ebay!

Hope everyone manages to get issues resolved. I know exactly how it feels...unfortunately.

That sounds very plausible...and a job that I'd love to do but getting the lights out is an absolute PITA right?? The bolt you have to get at from underneath somehow stumped me and I was very quick to give up as it had just started raining!!

Anyone know off the top of their head if DTA do 35w or 55w? I'm being lazy....I got a set last summer and though they are much brighter than my stock lamps they're nowhere near as bright as I thought they would/should be. Annoys me when a beamer/merc comes flying past and I realise I actually still couldn't see half the road as they light it all up!

I do like Supras and truth be told I was on the shop for one before i came across the Zed but that dash is just fugly....I'm not sure what can be done but the car itself looks sweet...just not as good as the Zed! IMHO of course...

Saw a white kitted Zed driving up to Tower Bridge along Tower Bridge Road tonight around 11.45pm...I was driving off the Bridge in my Zed...never seen a Zed in 'central' London before!

I've tried bud but it's a pita finding a supplier of AP discs without bells! I've got an enquiry outstanding with one so will see what they come back with but just seeing what else is out there to be honest. If I can bag a decent set of upgraded calipers at the same time along with decent discs I may as well....

...does anyone know whether stock 350z brakes will fit the 300zx without any fiddling about (brackets, etc). Also...are they as good as a R33 upgrade or better even??
