I know there's a lot of brake threads but I couldn't see the answer to this question (which I'm sure is glaringly obvious but I just want to make sure)... ...I have relatively new EBC red stuff pads on my stock calipers all round. If I get some R33 GTR brembos on the front, can I used the existing pads or will I need to buy new ones to fit? Cheers

Bit of an odd question this, but does anyone know the legality of driving (short distance) without the front bumper on my zed?? Obviously I'd display the number plate in the front windscreen, etc... The reason I ask is that I need to remove my front bumper so I can get it re-fibreglassed but having an absolute ball ache of a time getting it off! Long story short I can't be arsed with doing it myself anymore so figured I'd get it down to a local garage/bodyshop and get them to take it off for me. The issue then is to how I get the Zed back home...can I drive it or will it have to be a trailer/recovery job??

My RPS Max is already knackered and slipping within 3000miles of fitting. Boost is only on 12psi but under heavy acceleration it just slips everytime. Decided to just use it til it's completely gone as RPS have only offered a free checkup and replacement so would be up to me to bear the cost of removing and posting the unit to the US...just not worth the hassle... Not sure what I'll go for next. Zedworld have a 5puck which may be suitable but have read bad things about pucks....

I sprayed mine black before putting it on but as the paint gets chipped it develops a mish mash of colour. I also don't like how chicken wire mesh gets dented quite badly....not sure what else to use though...

Well I managed to get the first flight out of Bangkok yesterday and landed as the 2nd flight into the UK last night....good to be back but in way kinda wish I'd been stuck a bit longer...really got into the holiday mood! lol...

haha...no reacharounds mate...though a few happy endings! lol... Well I'm happy to say I got back to the UK last night on the first flight out of Bangkok and I believe the second flight to land in Heathrow. After what felt like such a long wait to get back I'm a little sad to be back as was getting used to relaxing in 39c temps!! Ah well...back to the daily grind now I guess....

So...as I mentioned a few weeks ago I had a great 3weeks hol in Australia...plenty of sun, sea, sand and...skin! :winkiss: did lots of crazy things like jump of a bridge...jump out of a plane...climb a big bridge (Harbour)...rafting...diving in the reef, etc...even managed to spot a fair few Zeds! Anyways...had my fill and happily on a flight back to London via Bangkok and an hour before we land in Bangkok (1hr transit) we get told that some hole in Iceland has blown its load and we won't be going anywhere in a hurry... ....5days later and I'm still here in Bangkok couped up in a hotel 60km from the city (due to the red shirt protests/riots) with about 500 other stranded passengers! The temp is averaging about 35deg celsius and my days have mostly been reduced to visiting the gym and the pool about twice a day, venturing out to various sights (I've been here before so not really looking to go sightseeing and spend even MORE money!) and getting a daily 90 min massage (for a tenner!) by a hot young thai chick....giggidy giggidy! Oh...and getting sloshed at the bar every night! Could be worse...could have had to wake up for work this morning! What makes things slightly better for me is that it seems my boss is stuck in Egypt himself! My main concern now is that I'm losing the little holiday allowance I had left which means the rest of my year is going to be pretty uneventful! Heard an ok topical joke as well...what's the difference between the Icelandic volcano and Cheryl Cole? The volcano is still blowing Ash! ooooooooooooooooooooooooo....lol
