  1. Didn't know this mate...I was eyeing up a JVC model as well!! Thanks for the heads up...
  2. Good stuff guys, thanks! Certainly giving me some more options to consider!
  3. Does anyone know much about camcorders?? Hoping to find a decent video quality (doesn't have to be HD) camcorder that records to HDD for the sub £200 price range...is that even possible?? Most I've seen are £220 - £350ish but I have no idea when it comes to camcorders so not sure if they're even good or not! Basically want it for hols/travelling, etc as well as possibly mounting in the zed from time to time though this will certainly be a secondary use. as hoping to try and do some research so I can try and bag something in the run up to new years
  4. Cheers bud! You right from the off about those skirts...really happy with the way they compliment the front and rear! All credit to you on that one mate!!
  5. ha! Brilliant mate! Not sure who's the silver one is! Top job on your engine though bud....very very impressed! The fellas wouldn't stop raving about it! :whistling:
  6. Thanks mate, appreciate it. Was really really off with it for the last few mths. Nothing was going right but really feeling great about it now!
  7. lol..there ya go then eh! I have no idea what the guy was called...guess a query with dvla should turn up something though. From what I've been told, the guy bought it from new and was modding it but then met SE Nissan and went into the agreement with them til he sold it to the guy I bought it off...
  8. Thanks for the comments guys! I know overall it's far from perfect/new but it's not looked this good since I've had itand with the new clutch and flywheel it drives superbly...think this is the best condition it's been in since I've bought it so is an absolute joy to drive! I'll get some more pics up over the Xmas weekend ;-) Now about that snow...:sweatdrop:
  9. Really friendly guys mate, cheers for the recommendation! Great but simple setup too! The 300zx's outnumbered any other cars in there...inc mine there was 3 of them! Ant300s one was in there looking very very sweet indeed!
  10. Not sure what his name was mate. It wasn;t the guy before me but may have been the guy before that...he bought it new in the UK and worked with SE.
  11. Cheers dude. They're really good but stonechip can be quite bad exposing the FG underneath when all the paint gets chipped away! And it can be pretty noisy but in terms of looks..i love them!
  12. Cheers bud..really am!! Looks and feels like a (sort of) brand new car! :balloon:
  13. Cheers dude. The rear bumper never had the swage unfortunately...it is one of those niggly things though as I had it running down the side and front but never at the back...kind of unbalanced. Hopefully the skirts have lessened it a bit though?
  14. It's the original SE Nissan kit mate. They styled the front, rear and bonnet vent when they worked on the car back when it was owned by a previous owner. They modded it (free labour) provided they could use it at shows...or so the story goes. So far I've found a Max Power dvd it featured in bt nothing more ;-( Still...i love it so had to repair as didn't want to replace...bloody fibreglass! lol.. Cheers for the comments! Feel like I haven't seen it in ages so just sex wee'd when I saw it tonight!! lol
  15. Picked up the Zed from Custom Exotics tonight. It's been there for just over a week to get the following: rust repair - rear quarters and sills fabricate brake ducting and repair front skirt (smashed them up on a kerb!) fit front fog light ducts (courtesy of carmad) fit skirts and door fillers (again a carmad production, cheers to Kurt for sorting me out with these!) Great great bunch of guys down there, very very friendly and fantastic comms! Haven't had a chance to look the car over in daylight yet but I'm chuffed to bits! Wasn't too sure whether the skirts would suit but really do like them now they're on! Could only grab a few dodgy mobile pics in the dark but more to come! What do you guys think?
  16. I really like the sound of this as it's been something on my list for ages but having taken the rear lights apart...I'd be so scared of breaking the lenses doing it this way!!
  17. Try Barry from Safe n Sound. He is based up in Yorks but he came all the way down to London to do mine. Brilliant work and great guy. Worth contacting him to see if he comes up to Scotland much or if he has any partners up there... Will PM you details...
  18. Lucky git! lol...Absolute mission for me this week. Still, I'm happy to do the mileage to get the work done by a professional that I can trust...
  19. Took my car to Jimmer last Sunday for work on fitting clutch, fly and SMICs with the instructions that I needed the car back within the week. Jimmer worked evenings after his day job to get the work done and I managed to pick it up last night....it really did feel like a completely different car! Just a massive thanks to Jim for doing the work so quickly and as always, the service was excellent! Thanks again Jim...and looking forward to the curry!! To Jimmer....a true champion of the Zed community! :duffer::clap:
  20. Thumbs up was an understatement! I loved it! Bloody tasty!!
