I put myself on the engine rebuild list back at the start of May. I got allocated number 17. I was asked to call back at the start of August to check my position in the queue. When I phoned back in August I was now in position 16. :eek:. 3 months only to move 1 place up the queue. so I worked out that it would take me 4 years to get my car in their garage. However a week before then, Macca introduced me to Peter and we had a chat about the well being of my engine. He said that because it wasn't a complete engine rebuild (i.e. only new Inlet and Exhaust Valves) I would be able to get the work, in and out in a week. So After Billing I popped down to see Bob and Peter at SE to get it sorted. After speaking to both Bob and Peter my car was booked in for Sat 30th Aug. They said that the car would be ready in 10 days due to the engine shop and workshop not having enough space at the same time. So I phoned them the Wednesday before to double check that my car was still ok for 30th, but was told by Bob that one of the technicians had left last week and thrown them off a bit. He asked if I could bring it in the next week. I know about the delays and the play it by ear timescales that SE is well known for so I said I'll bring it in in two weeks time and you can have it for two weeks. I'm not bothered if it will take a month to get it done, but as long as I know it's going to be a month before I take it in.

May also be a leak in the master or slave cylinder. What's the level like in the resovuir ? Where is the biting point on the clutch when you get the crunching ?

Fooking Thing won't start again. Been trying for 3 days now :mad: Taken the plugs out gave em a good clean,put them back in but still no luck. It just doesn't want to fire. Turns over fine. 0 resistance between the negative on the battery and the earth from the PTU. I think I'm gonna try new plugs, anyone got any new ones for sale ?. Any other suggestions ?. The cars going in to get the valaves replaced the week after next, but I would really like to get to Trax this year :(.

235 on a 10" rim :confused: I didn't think this was possible. I put 265 on my 10" rear and that was about as small as I could go ???. Oh well if it sits right and doesn't rub, then you done well mate. Still confused though, would love to see them, got any pictures ?

LOL, That would be your speed defender then mate. It takes away the limiter on your japanese ECU. Therefore you can go over 112. If you want to test it. Disconnect one of the wires and find yourself a private test track (these usually come in two lane versions ;)) then give it a blast and see if you can hit 120. If the car jumps at about 112 - 115 then you know why. If your car been converted to MPH then it may have another one of these behind the dash. So many not be needed. But since you have removed it try the 120 thing and see what happens. HTH

:eek: WTF..... Did you say all of the wheels are 18 x 10" ??? Erm... I don't wanna sound rude but 18"x 10" on the front is not only gonna look a little strange, but you are gonna be rubbing splash guards left right and center mate :eek:.

What boost you running on full Mike ?1 bar (14 psi) or are we talking sillyness here like 20 odd psi ?

Not sure I'll have time for this mate, but maybe one day in future I could knock something up :D
