Get Well Soon Babe !!!
The problem was Spark was there fuel and pressure were there, Air was there but the compression wasn't. I think the inlet valves were so far gone they jsut couldn;t create enough of a seal when cold to get the car started. :(. Still, once I get back I'm gonna treat her real good and never abuse her again .... yeah like **** :D :D

Get Well Soon Babe !!!
LOL Si, I've slipped Bob a few quid to accidentially swap the engines over so your's should come out at about 400 bhp and mine will be a loverly 550 - 600 BHP :D. James, I got a little penny racer of my own mate, but it's the graphite grey one :(. Still I can always play around with Cerina's NA which now we have figured out how to set up the AFR, goes like stink. Steve E, Didn't see you there mate, I got there a little later (about 16:30) you were probably long gone by then.

Connector for temp. Sender urgently req.
Whenever you change a part in the engine especially when it's connected to the sensors I would. You may even find that the car performs better.

Excellent. Well hopefully that was the problem. Did you reset the ECU after you fitted the new temp sensor ?. Touch wood that that's the end of it

Diagnostic mode and PTU
You need to do a few tests to see what cylinders are the problems. Get yourself a cheap plug from Halfords (a £2 one will do). Take out one coil pack at a time and test for a spark. You may find ones, that don't spark. If so try changing the coil pack over for one that worked. If it still doesn't work then you need to check the wiring and the PTU. If all of them spark test the coil packs again but using the plug for that cylinder. If still no luck then check the injectors by removing the CAS and turning the ignition on (not starting the engine), turn the CAS slowly and listen for the injector clicks follows by a squirt or petrol.

Piss poor spark
Well it was a small socket rather than the wrench itself. The reason I couldn't get it out with a magenet was because it was actually in the intercooler itself. !! So I took the fornt bumper off and took the intercooler off and this is what I found.
