  2. Hey Garry, Can't see my name on the list yet :(
  3. LMAO, Yeah he was charging £360 a hit or something as a special price. The story I got was that his uncle made then in south affrica. I'm now starting to wonder where he got his radiator stuff from
  4. Well I'll take that beer off you then mate ;). I asked the same question a while back not one person knew so I took it upon myself to find out... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=24848&highlight=connectors These are the connectors that link the body harness up with the Engine harness. There are sometimes 2 and sometimes 3. Brown, Grey nad White (some people may not have the white one).
  5. nice one mate. They look good.
  6. No mate I haven't got round to fitting an after market temp gauge yet so I can't tell you the exact temp difference however after a long trip up to Thor, a few RR sessions and the long trip back (stuck in traffic for 30 mins as well) the gauge was still sitting lower than it did with the stock rad and viscous. I have to say personally it's runing cooler, then then I can not say whether that is the howe rad or the electric fan. We need another guinea pig :D
  7. Yep, I got Howe rad from Z1 as well. Mine was really easy to fit but it was made easier as I removed the viscous fan and shroud and replace with an electric one.
  8. erm I did but I used a secret agent ;). Will speak to you on MSN mate.

How did you manage to blow it up ? No water ? No Oil ?. too much boost ?
  10. That would make sense as I only had new ones about 8 months ago. The strut brace was fitted just before the new mounts went on.
  11. check the stop and tail sensor in the boot mate.
  12. All the best mate have a good one !
  13. ah man, I remember that thread Cos, it turned into a clockwise is always clockwise unless it's anitclockwise thread lol.
  14. can usually tell how much flex is in the roof of a car when it's covered in Ice and you drive round a corner. My Targa were cracking their little socks off last winter.
  15. LMFAO !!!!! Pure class ;)
  16. Hey that looks like a picture of my car with no rear bumper !!! and that looks the spitting image of my car with no front bumper
  17. it took about 3 months for a a mark to appear on mine.
  18. I think it's the lines that are pressurised as well as the tank so removing the fuel cap would only release the tank pressure. However saying that I assume you did the fuel lines when the car was cold (i.e. sat a night before doing it) if so then you wouldn't have had a great deal of pressure in the lines themselves (well I didn't). Still got soaked in Optimax all the same
  19. Mine better than the rest (until Billings done and dusted that is ;) )
  20. Just a word about the bonnet bulge, if you are after a low and wide look of the car I would maybe think about a different type of bulge. With a bonnet bulge it kinda gives the car a narrower look. See what I mean with this pic of Mine and Jaffa's. Also think a flip would look nice but something different that no one else has, there's a few green/blue crosses out there on Z's already.
  21. Well after looking at it. The rod isn't too bad to get to. However I was looking for the clutch switches also so I could adjust them before adjusting the rod. I think I'll just adjust the rod ;).
  22. Agreed... Find the problem first before you try and fix it !!!
  23. That nut is almost impossible to put back on !!!!!. I had to use liquid metal instead. I'm hoping that will hold it. I just hope she doesn't need to replace her alternator in within the next 2 years .
  24. Yeah but can Hermy blame it on fooked Tubs, burning 1 litre every 4 miles. I humbley hand this award over to you mate  . You make me look good !!!!
