Can't make the 5th guys sorry. A friends got a birthday do and she's having a bouncy castle :D.
  3. anyone seen or heard from him ?
  4. oh notice the performance gain as well ? Usually you only notice the induction performance gain with a stock zorst. I put an apexi on a few years ago with an after market zorst and only noticed a small difference. But a mate of mine put apexi on with stock exhaust and the difference was very noticeable !
  5. this one ? I think it belongs to Devil IIRC Can't see the plate as Timmys head is in the way
  6. what did you have before ?
  7. just take out the _th in your links mate. Actually I don't think you can eidt you posts because you are not a subscribed user (may be worth subscribing ;) ).
  8. I think you meant to put these up Martin, but correct me if I am wrong.
  9. looking good so far !
  10. no mate, you need to get your car to a garage who has a cylinder leakage test or find somone on here who has one. You basically blow air into the cylinder via the spark plug hole.
  11. top man Mark, thanks mate.
  12. wet compression using oil would tell you if the air was leaking past the pistons, but on the low compression rates you are showing it may not show a great deal. You need to do a cylinder leakage test. You fill the cylinder with X amount of psi. Then monitor where it's leaking to. 1) adjacent cyliner = head gasket 2) zorst or plenum (removing the balance bar is much easier) = valves 3) oil bubbles = pistons 4) water res = head gasket
  13. Anyone ever adjusted thir clutch pedal before. I've got an article on how to do it but it's a US version and they can take the side panel off to reveal the clutch switches. You can't do that on RHD's. Has anyone done it ?. If so did you just adjust the rod or the switches as well ?. also how ?
  14. Cylinder leakage test next mate to find out where all the compression is leaking to. If it's a whole bank I would say it'a gonnabe a head gasket problem, however saying then my money is still on your valves.
  15. Matty, I have the same strut brace on the front. Do you have any problems with it catching the hood ?. In a couple of weeks look for indentations in the middle of the brace and let me know. Thanks
  16. where they the 16g's ?
  17. yep it's is a superstition with the coin under the seat. I have also left mine where I found it :). You never know

  19. yep found yen in both mine
  20. Hi Eric, not seen you around for a while. Thanks for the advice. I won't be able to get a screw driver in there as the holes are so misaligned. I'll try smacking the alternator a fair bit to see if I can get enough space to use your method.
  21. One of my mates is selling an R reg R33 GTR V spec (silver) manual. Giv eme a shout if you are interested and I'll put you in touch. I think he wants 15k for it (or something in that region).
  22. Got a sligh belt sqeal from Cerina car a few day ago. I had a chance to look at it this morning to tighten the tensioners. I found the top bolt to the alternator was pretty much all the way out and the alternator is not misaligned so it doesn't go back in. I've stripped out the rad, fan and taken the belt off, but it just doesn't seem to want to line up with the hole anymore. The adjuster screw is loose and the alternator does move but I can not seem to get the bolt to line up. Do you think I need to take the alternator off completely or am I missing something ?
  23. yep sounds like valves to me mate. Had the same problem, is it becoming increasingly difficult to start when cold ?
  24. I've said all along a few of us should put our cars on auto trader/loot etc for double what the would normally go for. When people phone up, just tell them it's sold. People will thenstart thinking wel it that sold for that much I'm gonna put mine up to this. The next thing you know the price of a nice Z will be around £10k - £12k
