LOL, Why is it that whenever I post something up about my RWBHP, torque or track time someone has to say that's can’t be right !!!. When I ran 13.53 with a terminal of 117mph I had a lot of wheel spin at the start, I ran this with about 15.5 psi. I also ran a 13.6 with a terminal of 104mph with no slip but @13.5 psi. I got the slips, I have the graphs, I know what they say, I had fun doing it and that's all that matters :tongue: :rofl:

Monza fronts are far more fragile ;). The most extreme Z I have ever seen is Andy Lines but it's not finished yet.

As some of you know I had my first shot at a drag strip on Sunday. Queuing up to go on I felt fine, about 5 cars from the front I started to get a little nervous as I was next to an AC Cobra (which may I add sounded the nuts). 2 cars to go the adrenaline was building up.. I could feel it in my chest and my arms. Now it's my turn, I entered the burnout strip and dumped the clutch at 5krpm and spun the tyres up to the start line. My legs are now going through a "Shakin Stevens" session. I'm at the line the white lights tell me I'm good to go. 3,500rpm clutch at biting point…. Handbrake on with button depressed for release… Next thing I know is the green light is on and all my thoughts about gently easing the clutch went out of the window. I dump the clutch and hit the gas pedal to the floor !! 1st gear to 7kprm…. 2nd gear a little more…. Hearts now going like the clappers 3rd gear approaching red line… fook it only a little further…. Keep it in there…. Passed the line doing 117mph in 3rd gear (manual) !!!!! Brake Brake Brake… I'm breathing like a hamster on heat !!! Fook me what a rush. Joined the queue again straight away, opened the bonnet for extra ventilation and a few oil and water checks… Repeat again… And again… And again… And again… LMAO Is this $hit addictive or what !!!! Has anyone actually done the 1/4, won their race and not wanted to do it again ?

This is really up to Mac to decide whether he lets you do this rather than us mods. What I would suggest though is that if you are making £30 a unit and you now have well over 300 post, you may want to donate £20 to keep this forum up and running and become a subscribed memeber ;).

If so the Blue SWB is a bomex Evolution kit with a quad light conversion. The kit including the mirrors came with the car from Japan so I'm not 100% where you can get this. The silver LWB, has a stillen front bumper from Stilen (USA) via MJP auto's(in our traders section). The side skirts and rear bumper are wingwest from Zcenter (also in our traders section). The bonnet bulge and head light panel are also from Zcenter.

Yep GPS are traders on here. So I would recommend them. (Grasshopper Pro Sport in traders section).

You're not alone james. I was running 10.8psi with the boost leak from the Greddy IC's. I fixed the leak and hit 17.4, heard a bit of det. Retuned back down to 14.5 before any major damage was done. I've now set my SBCi-D to sound a buzzer, go red and drop the boost to 10psi for 2 minutes if I hit more than 15.5psi, that should safeguard any future mods a little better. Can you set a limiter on your apexi controller ?

My traction control seems to have gone a bit strange on me. Has anyone got a dat file (I think that's the format) they could send me ?: I have 265 x 35 x 18 on rear (eagle F1 tyres) 245 x 40 x 18 on front (eagle F1 tyres). I want to try this as a base setting then tweak it from there (once I figure out what I'm doing) stu@300zx-mods.co.uk Thanks guys

It's starting to sound like a TPU problem to be honest. Fine when cold but starts to misbehave when warm. Have you got anyone near you that you could try swapping the PTU's over just to see if this solves the problem ?.
