Rotate the wheel until it drops.
  4. Well to be honest we've all tried something different. Every modded 300 is different in some way.
  5. Sounds like head gasket or cracked lander to me.
  6. Excellent Idea. Leave this one with me and I'll sort it. Trophies should be won via a voting system. Each member submits their vote via the number plate of the car they like the best, you cn vote as many cars as you like but only 1 car per category. 1) Best Exterior 2) Best Engine Bay 3) Best Boot Install 4) Best Stock 300zx 5) Best Overall 300zx Anything else we can add or take away.
  7. I thought North Weald was 0 - 60's rather than 1/4 miles ?. Is that right ?
  8. lol I swapped from stock brakes to R33 GTR (calipers disks and pads). My stock brakes were kack and I had fairly decent pads on them. When I upgraded I didn't feel any difference at all. When I put my foot right down I couldn't get the ABS to kick in or the wheels to lock up. It was scary. I thought this can't be right. I took the EBC red stuff pads out (that I got with the set up) and put some portfields in. The difference is amazing. They now feel really responsive and I don;t know how I drove without them. If anyone here has EBC red stuff pads on their car I would highly recommend swapping them for some portfields.
  9. I may need two front koni's and also two front blitz springs if the price is right.
  10. Nice one Stu. When do you think you wil be up and running ?
  11. Sure thing. I was meaning to speak to Mark about this as I think he's been lumbered with most of the weight and I was hoping to spread the load. I'm at Billing from Friday afternoon till monday afternoon so I'll be there all weekend to help out. Obviously a lot needs to be done before the event though so just let me know what you need and we'll see if we can cover it all between us.
  12. After stipping out most of the vacuum pipes and sensors on the side of the plenum lol
  13. LOL, Unfortunately 3/4 times it is the tubs :(. and in my case it PCV valves didn't help.
  14. James, Get the chip sorted mate and we'll wire this up one evening. Did you wire up the boost gauge to see what you are running ?
  15. If this is going to become an open meet can someone put it up in the events and meetings section. We should get a better response that way.
