Japan........
I'm well aware of the types of radiation? Still doesnt stop people blowing a small risk well out of proportion!

Tuscan hunting
I do the same! LOL Until i nearly hit stuff in the back... You do get used to it though! I would have thought a tuscan, even the 6 cylinder model would leave a standard zed? Very light cars, great power to weight ratio!

Multipul sitings Doncaster
There is a chap in bentley does a bit of work on them I think? I have seen a zed at that garage in Bentley before!

Japan........
Awful and shocking, the earth quake the tsunami's have really knocked it for six. However, this knee jerk reaction about the nuclear plant, to be honest after reading it all for the first time I thought the same "hell fire its the end of everything..." really though after reading some analysis and putting it into perspective its really the least of the countrys issues. Obviously it wants sorting but the radiation "leak" from it is so minor that very few will be affected... This is quite an interesting article http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-12785274 In particular this bit.

engine power output Vs age.
two schools of thought of course... In some cases where an engine is worn, its no longer as tight and therefore less mechanical resistance... although being "run in" and "worn out" are two different things ;)

Lost a fellow work colleague today :(
Ah, RIP awful circumstances. It has been a bad week. I'm out on the road alot and these last few days I have seen some strange accidents. Perfect conditions, 10 degrees sun shining around 11 in the morning and a ford KA had left the M60 and run up the embankment and flipped a few times by the marks up the embankments. But there have been several more this week, all strange and more than normal.

hubcentric spacers
I had a wheel drop of due to the wrong nuts being fitted, steel wheel nuts tightened into cheese like aluminium. Un beknown to me I have to say, like that when I bought the car. Experience a knocking one evening with a friend, instantly pulled in and had a look but couldnt see anything in the dark so thought I would nurse the car to a lit area, 50m later the front left wheel dropped of and up under the front wing. I thought the bottom arm had sheared at first as the wheel was at 45* to the car. Only when I saw the brake disk was at its correct position I realised that the nuts had litterly wound their way of!

Rolling Road Wednesday.
Rolling roads are a bone of continuous contention! End of the day, results from different RR's are not comparable. On the day with a group of cars you could say one is more powerful than the other but: My standard M3 Evo + Induction kit made 297bhp on one Dyno Dynamics Dyno and then 2 months later made 328bhp on another dyno dynamics but at a different place. No change in the car just the settings of each dyno (I did check they were the same model!). What dynos DO show you is if the car is fueling properly, boosting properly and giving smooth power delivery. Its easy to make a dyno produce readings as to whatever you want, end of the day if you tell each of your customers they have a huge penis (power output) they'll keep coming back and bring their friends!

hubcentric spacers
Make sure you use the correct nuts with these spacers and that you check them regularly! I wouldnt bother personally but each to their own!

93-94 Sales Brochure, anyone have ?
Thing is though, I'm sure that S3/S4 cars never made it to the UK. So they would never have had the options that Yowser is looking for. Even though 93/94 cars in Japan were S3/4 I'm convinced that everything coming to the UK was still S2 - selling of old stock etc!

quick question
I have to say, my first 300zx was an auto and i had it converted to a manual, I notice that my currently 300zx has been a manual all its life and I'm convinced that the first one used to spool up quicker at lower revs!

D2 Big brake kit...
well if your brakes are really good why are you upgrading them ;) Stock Z32 brakes are normally poor, often with siezed calipers and warped discs etc. Basically the brakes are a bit small for the power and weight of the car so they take a hammering, especially with autos. Depending on the type of pads used, some can be awful when cold others better. I have found that the standard D2 pads are better when warm. Exactly the same as tyres, cold tyres dont work as well as warm ones!

D2 Big brake kit...
I have the 330mm kit on mine, was very impressed with it. The standard pads I have found could be better. I was advised to changed them, could do with some DS2500 pads in them but its more expense. However they are OK, just have to make sure they are warm before attempting any serious braking! FAR FAR FAR better than standard zed brakes (and as cheap as any other upgrade, evo/skyline calipers etc)
