Dam ebay!
Thats the thing, it was set to UK ebay only, and quite clearly states buyer to collect will not post! lol Ah well, i second chance offered the 2nd place guy who has now decided he doesnt want them, so I have a 3rd chance offer I could do... but i'll see if the greek dude can organise a courier... Just out of interest, i'm away for work as usual, does anyone know how much a standard TT front brake disc weighs? I believe the calipers are 3.6kg each.

To be fair mate, youve done so well with it you wouldnt break it for parts. I dont think people would let you! Its such a shame ( I had a read through and a catch up with the issues and bugger bad luck!) However, for the sake of a piffling £300, you'll find that money an regain the enthusiasm. I'm trying to buy a house at the moment so can somewhat understand your financial pain! However, if you get all the expensive bits tucked up nice and warm and safe, and try and get the shell as clean and dry as you can and tuck that away safe (no chance you could get the car in your grans single garage and find a smaller home for the engine etc?) Then in a few months time you'll have the £300, (has your brother got all his organs??! :D ) and you can carry on with it!

I daresay it could be done cheaper but i'm not sure I can be bothered, already had to do 5 or 6 emails tonight this why I get frustrated because I just have better stuff to do! Like whinge on here! LOL Annoying thing is the chap that came in second was one who emailed me and asked was I near where he lived in the near future, and indeed I am 10 miles from him on Monday, I could so easily just drop them of when im down that way problem solved!

Dam ebay!
Why does it happen to me?! I have just sold some brakes on there, now I stated local pickup because they are heavy. Yet a chap in greece has won them... Brilliant. So now he is asking me to ship them, having looked into it out of interest the shipping quotes are coming back as between £60 and £150. He did say if it couldnt be done I shoul go for the next highest bidder, I feel a bit bad as the chap wants them for his S13 but can I be arsed with sorting out postage to greece for 25kgs worth of Z32 brakes? :gun_bandana:

+1?? Im sure I recognise that number plate from somwhere. S4+ cars (so late 94 plus) didnt have a boost gauge (up until 99 spec when I think they go it back?) So that could explain why IF its a TT its got no boost gauge... However a few things date that as a series 1 car, first being that there doesnt appear to be a seatbelt on the B pillar. At that angle you would be able to see it I think. (Hence S1 with seatbelt on the door its self) Also it has an 89 spec spoiler on the back.. and the wrong badge. To me its an auto NA thats had a bump at somepoint and a TT front bumper fitted. Not a huge issue as you have all the bits, I believe was it midwaleszx did it? (to your old car if memory serves?!?!) after it got binned he reshelled the TT into an NA, im sure it was a ball ache!

Con men
Ah man that is awful! Must be bad enough for you to have to break the bad news to your customer! I'm sure There isnt anyone better than your self to put it right though! I suppose its the risk you take with trusting exotica to people, wiltshire being in the south west of the country, am I going the right way? :(

anyone ever had one of these?
I've told you before! Get something small and french, there are less than 4 moving parts. Yes the trim will fall of but there isnt anything to go wrong with an 8v 4 pot! As long as there is oil and water in there and a pint of petrol it'll run for a week!

Welcome. All uk cars are twin turbos. Na's were never available. You will be looking at an na auto or possibly a manual for that money. Good luck with the search!

ten year old bmw or merc?
Hard to say but one thing that can be said is that there isnt anyone in the land who will let you out of a sideroad when you have a BMW with an M badge on it. Instant hatred. The zed is rarer and attracts alot more attention, the M cars dont look too different to "normal" bmws so they appear more of a wolf in sheeps clothing. Infact, if you debadged an M3 and put it next to a Sport model of the same year you would be hard pushed to tell them apart unless you were into cars!
