  1. I thought they were extended belts... and surely that space saver is just the normal SWB spare thats been painted silver...?! Mine has one but its in the original yellow!
  2. I'm affraid Brian, I was with Adrian Flux but they just couldnt touch the insurance this year. My renewal was £760 or so for 3rd part fire and theft. 24- 4 years NCB no accidents etc (biggest issue with the Adrian Flux policy though was that it didnt earn no claims even though more no claims brought the cost down, cake and eat it anyone?) So I went online on money supermarket and managed to get it for £560 FULLY COMP with Admiral! with a policy that actually generate no claims and doesnt have the pedantic and pointless paperwork that the AF policy's do. Its recently changed to a new 50 group scale, which is supposed to allow more flexibility and that.
  3. If there is no clutch pedal... have you bought an auto...!? hehe joking aside. If there is no feel in the pedal then its probably related to the original slipping clutch. Im sure someone wil be along with a more informed answer!
  4. Mine has this! Very handy in this cold weather! :)
  5. If you read it again, basically the mondeo was in the way of the S2000 and RX8 as they were behind the mondeo... Sorry mate not really a race if your infront to begin with! Only a win if you leave them behind not let them overtake you... lol
  6. +1 on the driving front but Brian, you need to check autotrader! You can have a clean E39 M5 for 10k, and no problem with getting them as low as 7k these days! Infact 10k gets you a real nice one, 8-9 after some bargaining a completly acceptable one!
  7. Mike? Whos mike ;) Chris remember steve not been that long has it hehe Yeah I like that idea, also like the idea of a walk in shower! Only issue I have with the wetroom idea is that when u go to the loo you have to walk through it, well if its still wet then that isnt great! Although I suppose it could be arranged to avoid that. Decisions decisions Ive been back to look at the house this morning and im sold on it tbh, took a friend of mine who develops property and has an eye for detail and even he was impressed at the room sizes and quality of property although he has pointed out a few things to me that I, my parents and the estate agents had missed.
  8. 1.0bar is really all a standard engine with standard turbos and standard injectors is good for as far as I am aware. You might get away with 1.1 bar but the turbos tend to be just blowing hot air at that boost and you run huge risk of running lean and det because the injectors cant keep up.
  9. Oh my apologies! Saw 94 and didnt look at the back end of it properly. Not a S4 car as I thought! :)
  10. Aye just seen it on here as well. Nice looking car, later spec as well with the thinking mans spoiler on!
  11. and there was me thinking someone had told you that you were good looking and then went and had a look in the mirror!! :D ;) This looks a nice example! Cheap as well. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2339973.htm
  12. Nice bonny car! Easily worth the money, infact I think its a bit cheap personally. I do have a browse through from time to time and id be there like a shot if I was looking at the minute. Anyone wany a slicky?? lol I'll race you there cov_rob!
  13. its 7' 6" so 2200+mm long. So you would get a bath under the big window. As for the little window, yes it could be bricked up but would mean patching the render and might look a bit of a mess? Its only a little frosted window in what is now the toilet.
  14. Lol the windows are a pain, that little one is frosted though as the loo is there at the minute. Better than the big one at the end of the room which is open to the world!
  15. It was more a space so I could access and clean the window if required. Alot more thought needs to be put into it as ive just guessed the window sizes and postions etc. Not even bought the house yet... lol
  16. You mean like this? Just been looking at shower enclosures, shocked at how expensive they are. When a bath appears a similar amount!
  17. Its not a design program as such, just something I found online. Quite cool actually! After designing im totally cheating by taking a screen shot, firing up paint, cutting the bit out I want and just saving it as a jpg... Ah I could bluff my way along as a bathroom designer with this tool! :D http://www.bathroom-guides-planner.com/planner/planner.htm Have a V2 of the bathroom now... lol
  18. Designed! Job done!
  19. Great cheers for that! Actually looking at a planner I found online I think I can do it without moving it! Argh so much money!
  20. I've found a house that i rather like, infact I have an offer in and the vendor has told me what they want etc so its just waiting on me. However the bathroom is a split affair, with a seperate toilet and then a bath and sink nextdoor in typical original 30's style. Having been and measured it, if the two were knocked together and part of the landing reclaimed to make the bathroom square (well rectangular) it would make an 11' 6" x 7' 6" room. I'm not sure how easy it is to move things though, things like the toilet has to be on its waste pipe obviously, but can you move that easily or not? Also for the boiler people on here, this house has a (baxi?) gas boiler and a copper water cylinder, I have been told a modern combi boiler can do away with that as the cylinder is housed in a cupboard in the bathroom at the moment.
  21. Lol! Yes I can imagine how that conversation would have gone like if they hadnt got the spares. [RB] It doesnt quite look like the picture, i'm sure there is something missing [Host] Oh nono RB this is the final production ready for delivery... 4 people making an electric traction whine whilst a hastily mocked up 03 pushes from the rear??
  22. Hehe good effort. Poor little piston i'm free.... but a short flight!
  23. Awesome dude, so glad we can be of help. Not being funny or anything but my god you have grafted on this project, if the club cant help with a couple of quid to a member in need then what sort of a community are we? (Well fantastic regardless, even for caring. I can imagine there would be some owners clubs who would even laugh at someones mis fortune!? but there we go!)
  24. Happy Birthday mate, catching me soon! You must be all of 21 now ;) lol
