Had the same problem on my old 928.......steam was coming out of the top because too much pressure built up and it was old,bought a new one and all worked well,i think they're on a couple of quid......

I've always heard talk that the more air you force into the engine the more powerful and faster it will run.......perhaps the future is as Bilky says just fill up your car with air and no fuel???????????

I agree it happend to me last night weired one,it was almost empty and when i floored it i felt something was lacking,when i filled up half with regular unleaded the power seemed to come back and stays back???????

I've also tried the fat from my bacon pan........two weeks worth i'm sure when i put my foot down the front wheels actually lifted of the ground!

Been searching the threads and lots of info but........ I have used Optimax on my Import non turbo which was was good but as i have a twin turbo and it's a UK should i use regular unleaded as on the car is says use 95 RON which is regular. Also when the car was almost empty on Optimax it didn't seem to have much power.........soon as i filled it up with regular and put my foot down suddnely there was more power????

I have exactly the same thing from the rear drivers side exhaust more condensation on start up and i can smell a little more oil than the other side.When the cars hot all is well though????????????

No just pressed the button on the steering wheel and took my foot off the accelerator,the revs just started to fall????????

Took the car out last night for it's first outing down the M4.........bugger me this car's fast!!! Had a 928 Porsche which i thought was quick then went for a non turbo 300zx liked it but got bored.......sold it got a lovely UK TT and have to say it's faster than my old 928.....the pick up from 80 to 140 was amazing!!!! Anyway i notice the the cruise light comes on in the dash and i can hear a relay switch in but when i press the switch on the steering wheel nothing happens???? Any ideas Cheers

I'll see the results of the filter and pipes then next month look at the ECU upgrade!!!! I can see it now in 6 months time............ I'll look at the hybrid turbos boost and Nos this month then........

What would the cost be for the JWT chip and fitting,could Jeff (Z centre) fit this for me???

That's what i'm looking for i put a Mongoose and Apexi on my non turbo and only felt a very slight difference...............sounded good though. I hope to feel more of a result with the TT

So a cat back gave you a further 30HP at the wheels??????? If i've a 93 then do i have to put the cats back everytime i go for an MOT and if i get stopped by the fuzz will i also get done?

What is the standard power at the wheels? What would the ECU upgrade actually do and how much is this? Alex

As i now have a twin turbo i'm looking to upgrade the power as much as possible without needing to upgrade any other major mechanics. So far this weekend i'll be mostly fitting a Mongoose system and Apexi filter. Is this going to make a difference if so how much? I'm also interested in using a boost upgrade but nervous about putting any strain on other par After exhaust and filter would this be the next logical step. Also what would be the benefit of fitting a dump valve or is this a waste of time??? alex@tcsoho.co.uk

I'm getting a very low rumbling noise when i get to about 30mph,it seems like it sounds like it's coming from the front of the car low down somewhere,my initial though is wheel bearings........any ideas??? Could it be the turbos?

I'm going to look at a twin turbo this evening. 1.What should the oil pressure read cold 2.What should the turbo gauge read cold 1.What should the oil pressure read when temp is 1/2 way 2.What should the turbo gauge read when temo is 1/2 way Anything else i should look out for or ask?
