Just had to check the tyres as the car is pulling very slightly to the left.On inspection i've noticed the front tyres are only 205's and the rears are 225's is this correct? I assume the pull is the tracking even though the steering wheel is straight it could still be tracking? Shouldn't the tyres be little phatter?

Can anyone tell me what colour the wire is that connects the head unit to the power aerial???

Ok i've got the car at last!!!!!!!!!!!!! It feels even more comfortable than my old 928s,sounds great with the fat exhausts,i may even keep them............ The only faults i can find are the rear de-mist not working but i'll check fuses if there are any,and an annoying squeak every time i go over a bump. The old TV in the car was in fact a Nissan navigation system,a shame as i'm not sure it will work here in the UK.If i can re-program it and make it work with my system i will keep it. There are a sh** load of wires in the centre consul that i'm not sure what apply to.I was looking for a +ve wired connected to the ignition but couldn't even find one.What i need is someone who is expert in not only fitting stereos which i can do but someone who knows the import electrics.......any ideas? Also i need a spare glove box,the one that fits either above or below the head unit,did someone have a spare?????? Cool!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be so dissapointed if there's not one in there, maybe i'll just buy about six bangers tape them together and set them off if i stop at traffic lights!!!!!

Perhaps i should change it for a packet of digestive's a little safer and food in case i get stranded somewhere!

Any other little gadgets i don't know about? I thought the imports would have cc is it only the uk spec cars that have that?

Electric folding mirrors how do they work do they always fold????

I've been trawlling through magazines and internets for about 5 weeks now i've found lots and lots of UK spec TT auto's and manuals but not that many imports let alone a non turbo manual import!!!!!!! Have to say the one i'm picking up tomorrow is pristine interior and engine looks for all the world like it's just rolled off the production line,bodywork is perfect and it even has a telly! No cc but who cares if i wanted cc i would have kept my 928 auto.......

Do the import's have central locking?????????????

Ok i've found and am about to buy a lovely import Fairlady,it's in very good condition both bodywork,engine and interior. It has 44k on the clock and is a non turbo manual. It doesn't have cruise control but has all the other extras,electric seats,windows mirrors etc.Very nice cloth interior. The only thing i don't like is the exhaust.It has one of those huge single pipes both sides but i'd much prefer the standard ones.Does anyone want to swap or do they have them for their standard pipes or do they have them for sale? The other thing is i have a very nice TV in the car but unfortunately it only works in Japan (NTSC) does anyone have a spare tuner or do i need to replace the screen also? Can't wait to pick it up this Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alex

Hi folks I've finally found the car i've wanted a non turbo Fairlady which has only done 44k interior,exterior,engine looks spotless,interior cloth electric seats,no cruise control,manual dark grey with grey interior. The only thing that makes me a bit nervous is no history at all as it's an import. It's a '92 model. Any thing i should be asking or look out for. If it's still there this afternoon i'll put down some money and pick it up this weekend.... Alex

Ok two people reckon the 928 is faster than a 300zx anyone else care to pass judgement? On another note where can i get cheap insurance for a 300zx i've had one quote for £613 for me and my lady fully comp,we're both 35 and i've been driving since 17!!!!!!!!!! What's it like on the motorway,is it quiet as my 928 was noisy around town but very quiet on the M4???? Does anyone have any good pictures of the interior including boot,i need to start working out how to fit my in-car??

Hello again Good news someone is interested in my 928s therefore i'm a little closer to a 300zx.I've read a little and it seems a '91 onwards would be my choice.One with T-BAR electric seats/mirrors etc i'm not sure of engine size though? I've enjoyed the 928 auto and would like an auto zx.What sort of price should i be looking for one with 50-60k on the clock? Is there an owners club that can offer cheap insurance? Finally i've not actually been in or driven one,are they as much fun as they look?Does anyone a dealer that may hold one i can test? That'll do for now

Hello everyone I've owned a Porsche 928s 4.7 litre for one year and as it is now in prime condition i am thinking of selling it and moving sideways to a 300zx What can everyone tell me about looking for when i buy one,has anyone any pictures of one interior and exterior,any inherent problems with the 300zx and does anyone want to swap a Porsche 928s for one???
