  3. I've a Phoenix gold 4 channel amp very loud very good, works with a diamond, aluminium coned sub but the front speakers are complete pony...... I need to get a couple of Kickers very nice mid/tweeters!!!!!
  4. Nice idea but mine's a non turbo!
  5. Ok but make sure you test it for a while............ I'll send you a cheque and the clock tomorrow send me your address to alex.reid@ascent-media.co.uk
  6. I don't ****ing believe it bought a second hand clock £25 including delivery etc etc etc, worked fine for two days now it's dead!!!!!! Is there another digital clock i can use apart from the standard Nissan clock???????????? As it's been a subject of the past i just feel they've had problems with this part and i'd rather just get something else.............. I also think that if i get it fixed it'll probably go wrong again!!!!!
  7. The cheapest and biggest effect to my old 4.7 Porsche 928 auto was to renew the fluid in the box. There was a huge difference in changing up and down, a lot quicker indeed! Can't say i would ever get an auto again though found them a bit boring after a while, although my 928 auto is much quicker than my import non turbo manual....... Oh well better get a TT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. First is i've fixed the clock at last,if i bend the board slightly the light stays on,don't ask why,i jammed a piece of plastic behind the glass plate that holds the flourescent digits!!!!!!!! Secondly i've heard a strange "ping" noise like the one when you leave the lights on,it happend when i was driving very slowly could it be a low fuel warning or something???????
  9. Ooops as i woke this morning to place my repaired clock back into the car i noticed it was no longer on the window sill and one of my cats was giggling next to the sink. I've tried drying it out but it's dead as my ex girlfriend will be if she doesn't come to an agreement regarding our two properties ahhh that's better! Does anyone have a spare or one i could buy?????
  10. There you go! http://www.flaps-print-envelopes.co.uk/flaps.html
  11. If you can post one of your lady's hooters!! I can say hooters can't i it does relate to cars?
  12. No not those i have a lovely pair of those or rather my lady has!!!!
  13. I'd rather walk to work and chuck snowballs at passing cars than risk denting mine........ Can someone tell me if more powerful lights are available as they don't seem that hot on dipped or main beam?
  14. Anyone have a set of front mudflaps i've the brackets for them and can see where they should have been ???
  15. Honest opinion is the 928 is faster but then a 4.7 litre would be although it's raw power and very twitchy in the wet,it was also an auto with only 3 speed which got a little boring. The 300 is more modern and more reliable already but i think a flat race 0-100 the 928 is quicker. I have got used to the 300 but haven't really booted it yet although i'm thinking a TT would be more fun!!!!!!
  16. I've a non-turbo 92TT import,how can i make it a bit faster??????
  17. Happy New Year 'an all that!!!! I've tried the new resistor fit on the digital clock to fix it but it continued with the same fault for two days and now it's died completely........ has anyone a spare they call sell???? Cheers!
  18. I managed £330 limited 4.5k garaged cat one alarm!!!!! Aon insurance
  19. There's a fan that sits in the T-bar and i can hear an irritating squeak as it kicks in,can someone tell me what it's there for and is it necessary,if not can i switch it off? Also my clocks playing up has someone got a spare?????
  20. Been off with the flu but while i was away managed to sort my stereo, get a new Selca Cat 1 alarm and more importantly fixed the pull to one side on my steering. After having tracked it 3 times balanced the wheels checked the brakes i then changed the tyres, guess what it was the tyres, now it drives in a straight line no pull whatsoever!!!!!!!!! (Happy) Alex
  21. I have checked the earth and it's there although i don't think the fuse is where you said it should be i think that space is empty. Do you know where the power lead comes from as it seems to be heading towards the back of the car??????
  22. Trying to find out which fuse relates to the head unit by checking the on-line manual, also trying to trace the power lead which seems to go towards the passenger door and back, does anyone know where this ends up as a plug may be disconnected,i've still no power?????????
  23. If i have 225's on the rear and 205's on the front what size are the 205's are they 50 x 16's i need to order a pair today, the car is still pulling to the left, the tyres are worn so i need to replace them first to make sure this is not the problem then i will check the brakes............
  24. Someone gave me a link to the electrical diagram can i have it again i need to know which fuse supplies power to the head unit???????? Anyone reccomend someone who can fix the pull to the left on my steering????
  25. On the subject of tracking i had the alignment sorted out on Saturday as the car was pulling to the left, the alignment was done last thing Saturday so i took it down the M4 to check, guess what it felt no different. Sunday went to quick-fit who used the old fashined light set up and the tracking was still out!!!!! He then set it up and i took it for a spin.Guess what the ****ing thing still pulls. There is some wear on the left wheel inner tyre but i doubt it could cause this. I need to get this sorted this week does anyone know someone in West London that can help? Also i've sorted all the wires ready to fit the head unit but no power to the cables. Can someone tell me if there are fuses somewhere that give power to these leads there are in-line fuses but they are fine. Apart from that i love the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
