Hi newbie here just a few Q's
Hi Tom I have a UK spec '93 TT and i love it.....just fitting a boost controller this week, also have an Apexi filter and Mongoose exhaust......it's done almost 80k miles and looks and still feels like new.I had a non turbo first for a year now a TT for just over a year. The only thing i would change is the PTU, get the updated one for about £100 stops the car from stopping just when you don't need it to.Apart from that if you keep it looked after you should'nt have any problems. Most people will tell you if you want to upgrade it make sure it's working perfectly first. Also if you are going to buy one check for sale here first then if you don't find one here ask lots of questions here or take someone from here with you to look at one...

Therefore: 1.Disconnect the base idle valve. 2.Set the base idle around 750rpm. 3.Set the TPS. 4.Disconnect the TPS for a while or disconnect the battery for 1 hour. 5.Roberts your mums brother.....

Z-tech
Many thanks to Ryan @ Z-Tech for a sterling job re-fitting a new det sensor....now i'm well on the way to making some upgrades! After a few months of uming and arring about using a resistor or getting the job done properly i would reccomend the latter! The car is now consistant and runs well. Apologies about the alarm going off Ryan glad it was sorted. I'll definately call you in a few weeks for the chip upgrade and boost controller!!!! Should also mention in true enthusiast fashion he also cured a few other small problems...worth every penny!!!

Reccomendation
See you Saturday then Ryan! Any idea if you're near a town or something as i'll probably spend the day down there? Rough idea of how long it will take?
